HAPPY this film has been nominated as well as being film WITH REAL DEAF and BLIND people, and watching the film and this behind scene ..I NEVER actually believe someone can be DEAF and BLIND in one..I hope to someday do a movie for Deaf, blind, Hard of Hearing and Speech Impaired..but I rewind this at least three times and don't understand how a deaf/blind person would be out so late. I know we can't live in fear forever but I'm only hard of hearing and it's TERRIFIED Me to be out pass 6 or 8...Thanks for the shorts..I ❤ them as well, need more about US...

In Iran, in farsi class we had a chapter telling us about Hellen Keller and her childhood and how she had to communicate. And I didn’t remember her name but that chapter was on my mind the whole time that I watched the film and this documentary. And I searched and found out it was her. This short film was amazing and the documentary showed even the seemingly impossible task can be overcome. The film and documentary was amazing.

Hi Doug, I do no social media at all and do not even own a tv. I watch things on TH-cam and the movie came up, watched it and was so touched by it. The algorithms of TH-cam brought me to this, the making of your movie, which was just as fascinating to watch, you sharing and telling this whole story. So happy you found Arti. That story was so beautifully done. Just watched it again. Was a very emotional film. Thank you for the story and the background. Today is a strange day, as some of these days come. Is like God shares through accidental youtube suggestions every now and then about people's testimonies, and uplifting or deep stories, ideas, thoughts, emotion... This is one of those days, and this is one of those stories that really touches and speaks to me, feels like through this, like Artie, God is giving me a hug through folks like you and experiences like this. Thank you for today, and the first time I saw this when I truly did need it. Through people's actions and stories, well, that's how God talks to us. Thank you for that.

Loved the short and this story behind the scenes, really good, I wonder if he will do more some day, take your time though, don't rush it, wait for another meeting to inspire. Really good short, liked the spelling letters, lol was a bit hard for me to believe the blind man was a good speller lol but its obvious it is learned and practiced to make sure others could understand.
