I can not like the sights and still appreciate the simplicity of the “old school” hopefully you got your panties out of the twist they where in when you wrote your comment. I’ll keep my 1911 and still dislike the sights thank you.

I bought the TISAS 1911 and I love it. Not so much the sites, but the forearm itself. I've already put a couple of hundred rounds and it went through it all without a hiccup. I even tried with some steel case I had lying around and no issues. I'm happy, especially for the money.
Showing sights against a black background is not very revealing. It has standard GI Sights, remember it is a handgun and you point and shoot... I can shoot expert with Military sights not aiming, not hard to do. Remember in home protection you are probably less than 15 feet from the gangster, don't aim, shoot all 7 if you need ... 15 feet or less point and shoot... bye bye thug!!!

I'm looking at the A1 service model. Seeing it for $329. It looks like a well made weapon and has received great reviews. Just watched a Federal HST ammo review from TN Outdoors and it performed flawlessly. That will probably be what's in my magazine for home defense. I just always wanted a 1911 and specifically like the fact it's cloned after the WWII service model. I like the historic value. Hmm for the price why not?

I think we might have a contender for the name of the roxor
In January of this year I went to a gun show looking for this pistol. The only one that I found was the Commander .45 acp parkerized with two mags, box and tools for $349.00 total. I bought it and took it to range running fmj at first then 230 gr HP. For a new pistol out of the box I had zero malfunctions. I then put an extended slide and extended mag release and painted the front sight with white nail polish. I am very impressed!

It shoots and looks great but if your new to 1911s, be careful with them hammer bites!

I bought the same gun December 2021. Not gonna lie, it had a fair amount of hang-ups during break in (all FMJ), but I'm at right around 3000 rounds now and after about 800 or so, it's just eaten everything I've put in it, including steel and JHP. They're damn solid guns for the money.
Exactly. If it goes boom when you pull the trigger the price tag is pointless. Some of the best firearms I’ve owned are cheap and simple.

That's the military version that was specifically made like the military 1911 you can buy them with Is fiber optic sites Which has windage and elevation adjustment, not that 1 that's why it's so cheap
Wait till you get one in 45 my first gun was a colt 1911 gi my grandpa brought home i fell in love after the first mag
Consider that metal-injected moldings are used in place of forged steel. Plastic. It's one of the ways that cost is addressed.

Great price! Gave 400 for mine.
I bought the 1911B from Tisas with Novak sights, skeleton trigger and hammer, enhanced trigger and a nice paint job. The trigger is the best I've ever shot on a 1911.
Do you have a picture of it?
I have the .45 and the 9mm and love them both. Installed some Wilson Combat stuff in both and the perform fantastic.The 9mm is very accurate and cheeper to shoot.
What do you recommend to replace? I just picked up the 9mm full size ("Duty") w/rail.
I love this, Mahindra is known for quality and performance.
Well I'm an older guy and I have two 1911 one in 45 and one in 10mm and love them both I carry the 10 mm a lot in the winter
Kudos for you. They are a fine gun. Good luck to you and learn how to wear a cap. That visor is on there for a reason.

I just bought the tisas 1911 B9 carry in the 9mm, 4.25 inch barrel looks exsactly like this just a shorter barrel for carrying
They are like french fries can't do just one. I have three and they are outstanding. Full size 9mm, Tanker in 45 ACP and the Tank Commander in 9mm.

Ha ! I’ve almost got four ! Waiting for my last one , it’s at my FFL’s now ! I’ve got two 45acp’ and a 9mm, all five inch black. The one I’m fixing to get is a four and a quarter stainless. Classic had a killer sale on them , I paid $399. You could get a black about $350. I think the Army model for about $33. Single action 1911’s always have a great trigger compared to a striker fired trigger. I’d shoot a couple of hundred FMJ’s before I’d try hollow points. You need to break these pistols in, that’s most 1911’s unless you get in the high end, over $1200. At least you don’t have a plastic pistol now !

Put some orange or white finger nail polish on the front sight I think it will help and if you don’t like it it’s easy to take off. I have been tempted to get one of these I think they are great for the price. Thanks for the video.

How is the gun feeding ammo? I keep seeing that is shoots really well and other videos where they jam up... The other guns from SDS like Canik are really well made so it seems like the 1911 would be..
