It's crazy how different their relationship is in the show versus the one in the books... In the show, there are certain moments where it seems there is almost something romantic between them. Meanwhile, in the books they have an evil step-monther & step-daughter dynamic. I like they made Alicient more mellow in the show, and the age gap more similar between them. I I wonder how they are going to navigate this in the following seasons.

Just something I caught but I could be wrong: If you listen closely, when Halbrand takes Galadriel's arm, the music changes in mood. It sounds powerful, but the choir in the background deepens into a more villainous tone, as if there's something wrong with the seemingly good moment. Halbrand's theme is played, but it's different than how it usually sounds because he's much closer to power. Love seeing the little clues across the show.

Two things can be true about this scene, although you can dislike Alicent (as I do) she’s entirely justified in her seeking of redemption, and Aegon got what he deserved, but handled it like a badass.

Everyone is hating on Aegon because he rape that poor girl , and sympathize with Daemon who killed his innocient wife ..double standard BS .

Alicent decided to believe his delirious mumbling over his will given in such an obvious way...
