I was 14, this is now a cliche, but it was the bullied fat little guy in school, I'm also clumsy, and didnt have any social skills at all at the time. I had few friends, so few that I counted them with the fingers of one hand with some fingers left. I got depressed, cuz I, like many others, think in a egocentrical way, aswe were the centers of the world, our world. Reading Berserk, I saw how fcked up Gutts is, and even then, he is the most humane and relatable character in the whole story. Gutts went so much worse, and I dont care if people say it's just a fictional character, he showed me the valor of life, friendship, to keep fighting through. And here I am, still climbing up on life, but if you said to my 14yo self, how far I'd come in 12 years... I would laugh at your face. Berserk brought me out of depression, it indeed changed my life, I'll ever be thankful to Miura. May he rest forever wherever heaven he dreamt of.

When you subscribe you get all DLCs but the last as long as you stay subscribed, and a bunch of other great QOL stuff. I also hear that from now on every time you buy the latest DLC you get all the previous DLC with it? Not sure, but the subscription is awesome, you also get its value in crowns.

For honor? Nah. Honor is simpler on the surface but also deeper. Learning each character's combos is not enough, you need to actually control the rythm of the fight, if you just respond to it you're getting clapped.

Dude, I was not expecting that. I understand a bit of the hate you are getting from some people, but I get where you are coming from. To me For Honor has the best melee combat ever made. I have 80 hrs just playing against the AI. I turn the HUD off and play more defensively, without cheesing the AI (as in easy difficulty they don't parry at all and to play on higher difficulties you have play a lot online to rank up) and reacting to the animations. It is still a very unique experience. No other game has came close to duplicating it. Another thing I really like about For honor is the setting. Mixing all these melee combat warriors from different eras and cultures/places is so awesome! And there is no magic per say, no monsters, huge ugly enemies (those enemies put me a bit off from souls-like, I prefer to battle more human enemies with weapons). Just warriors on warriors action. It should be a crime to have this combat system exclusively to a PvP online focused game. Imagine a For Honor 2 single-player/co-op RPG with a similar combat system. That would be so dope! Unfortunately, Ubisoft patented the combat system, so no other company can replicate it. And now Ubisoft is just leaving this awesome system to die. Same thing with WB. I hate WB for patenting the Nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor/War games as well just to let it die. The new Wonder Woman game was supposed to have a similar nemesis system according to some Monolith devs. Anyway, sorry for commenting 8 months later, but I wanted to share my opinion. Btw, have you tried the new Dynasty Warriors Origins Demo? They are revamping the combat system and it is quite fun. There are now blocks, parries, perfect evades and enemies have an armor system that functions similar to a posture system. I suggest you give it a try, if you have not already.

1. Published by Ubisoft (reason enough to stay away). 2. It's a PvP game (another big turn-off if you're recommending a "Sekiro-like"). 3. Tried it during beta/release, combat is fun, but it will not scratch that Sekiro itch imo. Conclusion: not a great comparison/recommendation.

This is a great game. It took me 3 tries and added mods on pc and now im hooked. I also play this with my wife and its lots of fun There are some mods thay make the game way, WAY more enjoyable.

If it was just 40 I might buy it but it’s 120 dollars

ESO is the game that I always wanted. No level walls, voice acting, good universe, action combat, endless build diversity, archeology, spell crafting, unique items, great crafting, active economy...and then they find a way to ruin everything through over-monetization and designing game systems around monetization. If you want to enjoy this game you will pay thousands of dollars, and then after a couple vacations worth of money you will realize it isn't that good.
