In this video I start my methanol burning 267cc for the first time on my stretched mega moto 80
That mf is crazy great build 🏁
Did you have to measure how much you needed to have the piston milled? I’m building ECs 263 and putting the same 59mm crank
Yes it had pop up and I milled it down to zero deck
Run a .045 gasket and don’t cut the piston
Why
That thing is sick brother. I’ve got a similar build going together with a Different piston and head but it should scream. Going with a 5” slick and bully three disk
Looking forward to seeing content from you guys. Currently building up my Tilly 212 to a 223. Great to see dyno runs to get ideas of what I'm gaining! Keep it up fellas
You have some really nice stuff. Congrats on it all working out for you. I'm hopeless however, today i torqued down a flwheel, side cover and head then thought, "I can fire that clone up later after I set the valve lash". Glad i waited because I remembered a little while later that I never did the rod bolts and they are just finger tight ROFL. Just a for fun project out of some spare parts but I'd rather not have it in pieces right away.
hi, i like your build, and your dyno results, although I have zero interest in this type of engine :) I am building a Briggs Vanguard 23 hp v twin , hence vg23air moniker. I am awaiting my crankshaft rebalance right now, I have piston coating arriving any minute UPS, so I hope to be building very soon after 1 year of planning. Can you shoot me an email, I wanted to ask about the DLC stuff. I also am seeking info on sourcing things like head bolt studs and other special bolts. I will add my email in a reply to this in case utube nukes it from this comment. My email is also on my channel. Thanks
Where are you located?
Va
@TroySchill95 do you have your address in your description somewhere? I'm gonna need to send my engine out at some point after I finish building mine. Pennsylvania doesn't hardly have anyone that does small engines unless it's stock. If it's stock they'll work on it, if it's modified in any way, they won't touch it lol.
@@markharris1473 I do not I’m sure we could work it out
@TroySchill95 kool, I'm doing block shaving at the moment for my cam clearance. Had to shave some off the rod too because the oil scoop was hitting the block and cam. Then the back lobe on the cam was hit the block under the cylinder. Now I have another issue I'm trying to figure out. I have to cut a side case cover to use to see what's going on inside. It's fun and all and pays off after it's done, but what a pain in the ass it can be at times lol
I'm building a 236 stroker myself. Just started it. Trying to clearance everything. Mine has a 58mm crank, 6270 billet rod, ceramic coated 72mm flat top piston, 6mm fat push rods, 37/50 dual spring valve springs, new bearings and seals, fresh race block, billet lifters, heat treated stainless valves, big valve setup, hemi head, cut for bigger springs and valves, ported and polished intake/exhaust, 26mm keihin race carb with complete nitrous jet kit and 6 sigma nitrous system, amr300 supercharger, 1.2 roller rockers, 32° billet flywheel with another 2° advance,.050/3 match books thick coil set, NGK spark plug, clear covers, wiseco fuel pump, billet side cover, race exhaust/header, 2 pulse setup also with oil catch, a.m. anodized intake, brown box 320 cam
awsome ! this is one of my Dream . to build like that
Good ole cap city
Back in my day - good ole Hanover Kart Track. Great track
How much for that build
Can build one for around 2-3k pending parts used
It's expensive lol. But fun at the same time 😃👍🤑🤑 I have around $2300 invested in mine so far. Gotta few more dollars to spend on it yet before it's complete and ready to start
Why does the cam gear have 2 dots on it ?? All other cams that I have seen just have the one dot
Can advance or retard billet cams
Nice job! Thanks for sharing
What kind of fuel you running
Methonal
💪👍💪👍💪👍
🧐 Was that a snowmobile with tires on the front there? 😂
Yes
I think you did a fantastic job here brother but I’m Leary about the short pin in this application and the distance between the crown and top ring land. I’m going with a slightly bigger 3.004 single compression ring Wiseco and Briggs pin on my 3” build. Where did you get the crank?

What length valves did you use? My EVO head didn’t have enough travel for the 965s to fit and I can’t cut the spring pads much before they cut into the roofs of the runners
Standard has pockets cut
@@TroySchill95I’m excited about my 3” build coming up soon. This one is getting a Wiseco piston, 36x27 billet work of art, larger undisclosed Cam but we’ll test a few different with it. If it lives, it’ll get a billet crank and get sold to the highest bidder to make room for the next one. Also have a 228cc in the works now along with another 236, both going to be test mules. The last 2.8 I put together ran 95mph in the 1/4 with an out of the box Blackmarkit 32x25 head.
Can we get parts list with links?
What are your valve adjustments on the zs 212
.003 both intake and exhaust
@@TroySchill95 I thought the exhaust was supposed to be more than the intake
I’ve always heard .003 and .003 for the zs190 and zs212 I haven’t had an issue I check imma every couple hundred miles and they seem to hold true
@@TroySchill95 so the manufacturer finally responded and said the valve clearances should be set at .005 intake and .007 for exhaust for best performance
Good to know ow thank you
how you make it an 267 nd why did you shave the piston?
59mm crank shaft and because piston pop up
START IT UP!
It’s crazy 😜
I’ll give you a 11 out of 10 bro lol nicely done 💯🔥🦾 I also just subscribed bro great work!!
You the man thank you very much sir
that thing needs a juggernaut driver
I had one 😉
5 minutes in... Still no dust on the bike ... XD
Could you tell me the part number and brand of that cam? I think you mentioned the lift on it but i didn't catch if you said the brand of it. Great video buddy, very informative. 👍
Dyno cams billet 335 clone specs
@@TroySchill95great cam. Run in all my stuff.
So happy you kicked ass with that bike man! All your time and money payed off.
That thing rips, great video! 5:16 We gotta look back at this next time, definitely gotta keep up with you longer that was pathetic in comparison!😂
🔥 🔥 🔥
Hey man that looks so intense! What are the specs of your 236 and gearing?(if I can ask) I have a Birel Racing kart that I just zip around my neighborhood with a very light modified Tilly 212 but I need more lol
Tilly 72mm block standard flat top piston arc -.020 rod 58mm crank dlc coated lifters 308 cam regular moly push rods I forget length I think the shortest they make 32-28 head I ported and polished nothing crazy just cleaned up mainly 55lbs dual valve springs champion rockers on methonal 28mm carb
Interesting so you went with a relatively low/medium lift cam and 1.1 rockers. Is the reason because higher lift may result in a loss of bottom end torque? I heard higher lift is for top end speed and you’re running on oval track and not 1/4 mile stuff like those cats in Compton. Those champion rockers holding up ok with those heavy 55# springs ok?
It’s a short rod engine so I don’t wanna turn a lot of rpm and the 308 is a good mid range cam I had laying around honestly and I went with 1.1 rocker for less stress on valve train cause I’m running it hard for 10min or more some times rather than 30 seconds and yes I’d rather tq over hp on a kart engine where there’s weight restriction sometimes
That thing is badass.
Nice build, I am going to be building a 236 this summer. Which coil wire are you using?
Hot coil from eBay
Awesome. Just gitten it..😅
Not bad Troy.
Appreciate it boss
How fast did you go?
@@GILSJOURNEY around 80mph
Did I just see you ran the motorcycle ack down 😮… are you still on the 30 series or did you swap to the juggernaut, or have you always ran the regular 30
Yes sir you did and tav 30 yes sir
Can’t wait to see this one back at busco !!!
It’s gonna be a blast we will see what I have against the super hog this year😂
