in comp tdc push rods will not turn the one which is turning is firing tdc . thx for sharing knowledge
In compression TDC, push rods can be turned. That one sooner be firing. In Valve Overlap TDC, push rods cannot be turned. That stage, expelled exhaust gas by incoming charged air. Hope you may understand. 😊
correct agreed but blow by test is applicable when your all valves are in closed state i e @ firind tdc position .
@rahulkumar-jz7fk Absolutely right ! Use compression TDC instead of firing TDC because firing doesn’t happen in exact TDC position.
05:52 wont the oil under the depth gauge be a problem
Good Question ! We have stopped main line oil pump and cooled down for a while before entering crankcase and take measurement. Can assume crankshaft isn’t afloat due to lube oil pressure.

At 3:57 high discharge temp alarm is set at 90*C and differential is set 10*C. i didnt understand the differential set value of 10*C. can you pls help me out?
You already know that Alarm Activated at 90*C. Until temperature reaches 80*C, you cannot reset that alarm. You may understand, MEC.

The most common bearings used to support a vertical shaft are ball bearings, roller bearings, and sleeve bearings. The type of bearing used depends on the load requirements and application. For example, taper roller bearings are the best for heavy axial loads, while deep Grove ball bearings can take light axial loads. (Please search in Google. Most answers can be easily found.)

Foremost, Thanks for your support. Not all pumps to be aligned, Silva. You can check on flywheel about which units reached TDC. 2 Units will reach TDC. One is Compression TDC and Another is Valve Overlap TDC. Measure degree of fuel injection for only Compression TDC. In compression TDC both push rods for inlet and outlet valves will slack. But, both push rods will hard to slack in Valve overlap TDC. Hope you may understand. 😊
