Can you change the spark plugs yourself or are they sort of basic to do. just bought a 2017 with 41,000 miles but the miles per gallon seems very low but the engine sounds ok.
I bought an 03 tdi wagon for a daily.. I hate this thing😂 the mpg is good, and it runs good, but that’s about it.. I don’t understand why people obsess over these cars. And it’s slow AF. The car itself is a pos. My clapped out 96 t100 feels way better to drive at 360k miles.
This exact car in a TDI is my dream
tochange rear shocp land creusel
I agree with you on the manual transmission. I WILL NOT buy any vehicle that doesnt come with 3 pedals (clutch on the floor) and a manual transmission. Automatics are boring.
do you have a video for a power steering pump
great job ❤
I have the exact same problem on an identical 100 series... front clunk when shifting and accelerating. I dont have the tools to do it myself but will be able to explain to my mechanic. What would a mechanic usually charge for a job like this? @thefadshow thanks so much
Been nice if you had used your camera a lot closer while under your hood removing the brake lines form master , next time put it on the garage door ? Been bout the same sir
Useful
was your leather interior a premium package?
Same truck in a 2017. I hate the transmission. I’ve owned 7 manual vehicles and 3 have been trucks. It’s by far the worst I’ve had. Also, try getting in at 6’ 3”. I’m getting rid of my soon. I won’t have another one.
hey Mario, no torque specs on the coil packs?
I am getting ready to change the transfer case fluid on my 985.2 Cayenne GTS. I ordered 2 bottles of Ravenol DTF-1 from Parts Geek, but received 2 bottles of Motul 75W90. There's a lot of conflicting information about whether you can or should use 75W90 fluid in the transfer case. I didn't receive the product I ordered, so I'm inclined to send it back for refund or exchange (provided they have the Ravenol DTF-1), but I'd first like to receive comments on these fluids, and which one I should use in my Porsche vehicle.
I’m considering ripping out my 10K mile old Old Man Emu Nitrocharger Sport shocks. What make are the shocks you installed in front? Are you happy with them? Looks like you have Emu torsion bars and rear springs, correct?
That’s right on the springs and torsion bars. I installed oem Toyota and couldn’t be happier. Way better and can’t beat the price.
Great videos - good job mate. Can you tell me what torsion bars you bought?
Hi, what is that paste that you put on the scratch @23:42 before the seal?
After each flush do you drive it around and then check?
Omg I have one too brother in AUS
Can i use liqui moly atf 1800?
Gorgeous color coordination. Appreciate how detailed this was
May be a dumb question but what cross bars do you have for your cargo box?
They are the oem VW ones.
@@thefadshow thanks man. Just picked up a cargo box off Facebook market for my 02 wagon and it looks just like yours and I've been struggling to ensure which cross bars to order to make it work. Appreciate the reply
I'm with you on the weeding through the ads - constant PITA.
Anyone know a source for the foam now? If not I’ll have to figure out something custom
I am looking to buy an alltrek and the seller says it has a tune but is unsure if what kind it is. Is there any way to check?
“Roll your own gears”?😖 You lost me on that junior high school comment.
thanks for very clear video and and every detail
Hey did you run into issues with the e brake? I read the golf R is electronic and alltracks are cable. Any help would be great
I used the alltrack rear brakes. You can use GTI rears if you want. They have mechanical parking brake and are same size as the R. Not much gain in upgrading rear brakes.
The nuts should be torqued while the car is back on the ground
comment
The most horrible tutorial I’ve watched
Nice dry underside on your Cruiser. Good job!
Is it same for 957?
Hi, I have to replace my M5 power steering lines as well because they are leaking. So the line which goes behind the engine to the steering rack can be reached through the engine bay as shown and lowering the subframe or something like that isn't necessary?
Great video.. need to take out my front diff to replace the rear seal which is leaking.. and likely after getting the differential out I need to replace the differential bushings.
ciao posso aspirare olio dall"astina grazie saluti
You make great videos man, thank you
I'd avoid ever hammering on the ball joint even with nut back on it - next time try hammering the knuckle. That's always worked for me 8/10 times.
Besides the manual transmission fluid service. Would everything else apply for a 2018 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagwn 4Motion?
Trying to decide between IS20 and IS38 for my alltrack. Any insight? Thanks!
Just a head's up ya don't have to take out the 13mm carrier bolts to replace the pads. I just took off the entire caliper/carrier assembly, then slid the carrier off its guide pins. Then I could inspect the pins and add grease.
this guy needs to slow down and catch his breath
Any new videos coming out soon. Sold my Alltrack for a 2024 R.
What sort of improvements did you notice after this?
What size is that flexible ratcheting wrench?
22mm for the rear
Does the car need to be recalibrated after????
How did you go about priming your turbo? Or what was your start up procedure. I know alh guys unplug the IP and turn it over a few times but that doesn’t work for the BEW
Im now IS 20 Stage 3 93 Octane.... I would smoke this guys setup. DSG is the clearly the way to go. Literally everything else stock. 93 is the best if you have it readily available in your area.
What a cool thing to say.
Dude, slow the video down and lose the music. Needed to understand how to get the coil packs out, which you completely glossed over.
Out of interest, why I always see Gold being modified / camped in. Why not Passat, have I made a mistake buying it?
