seeing the kids' drawings in your workshop is so cuuuute! they all did so well! I think you'll be a hit in Melbourne too, we don't have Kino though unfortunately - plenty of art markets though!

I like how you uses color. Being limited makes it look cohesive and you uses some vibrant tones that work with how you paint. I’m jealous how you’re turned out, it makes me realize that I need to push the depth of my highlights and shadows more
@@revior_tom tysm! Limited colors + depth was also something i struggled with, so those were elements i tried to focus on as i kept experimenting

I startee out with just a paper and pencil when I was young until my parents bought me a tablet and i started doing digital however now im older and now starting out traditional art its a struggle and sort of wished i started younger but with practice it gets Easier
@@sabihanaz6115 you can do it!! Even though I started with traditional, I did digital for most of my adult hood. Going back to traditional is kind of weird but I remember to just have fun

I used to be digital only like I firmly believed I could never do traditional (bc I never really tried) until I got proper coloring pencils and Ohuhu markers and their sketchbook... I haven't done any digital art in MONTHS fbskfnd. tbf lots of the colors are always kinda off from what they're meant to be no matter the brand, but you get used to it! All of your drawings turned out soooooo cute 🥹🥹🫶 for my fellow broke babes: Sanjoki is also a good alternative if Ohuhu is too pricey
@@bidsgee thank you for sharing alternative!! And yeah, after I started doing more traditional, Ive been having so much fun that I find myself just wanting to do that instead of digital (:
theres something soooo satisfying about traditional. the last time i did traditional art was when i was in highschool (years ago) and i always made the excuse that traditional is expensive and requires soo much space but this year i bought a bunch of different art supplies and i think i prefer traditional over digital now.
@@malurus_ YESSS to continuing to do traditional!!! I do think it can get pricey but it can also be super inexpensive (you dont need fancy tools to have fun or experiment). Even now, my fav tools are just one black marker in my non branded sketchbook.
@@pikarar Yesss same! It truly feels a lot more freeing for some reason even tho nobody's forcing you to make perfect art digitally fbskfb Plus you'll have a really cool artbook at the end :D
@@malurus_ Absolutely me too! Brings me back to highschool and just having fun and not having a care in the world. Using twenty different mediums in one drawing simply because you can. Also somehow much more relaxing than digital (but i still love both). Look at us huh, who would've thought!
