You could just fill it with any water synchro you want, I suppose. That said, there isn’t a water synchro I know of that can revive mirror magic master

The exodia parts are not in this set. Why would they be?

I saw some of the combos that make Thunder Dragon Colossus and I'm not a fan. Those are additional bricks in a deck that already plays quite a few.

Right, 2 bricks in a deck that already plays terror incarnate, ultimate nightmare, and both shavara and Shyama. Those are all cards you don’t want to see.

If there is a way, I do not know it. At least in the 1-card nightmare throne combo, you can't end with the rank 10 and yubel because you use yubel to summon the rank 10.

​​@@pkyugioh there is, it's a 2 card combo. Nightmare Throne and Dark Beckoning. The main trick is that you save Throne for later to get another lvl 10 from your deck. I learned this because, like you, if i'm playing yubel i'm playing the 3 forms. You end up with Lotus, Rage, the XYZ, a Yubel and... up to 2 of the new fusion, one can be an ultimate nightmare. You use the two cards the same as in the video up to the point you summon yubel from spirit. Do not use throne, add Squimer from spirit. Yubel is your 4th summon. Summon Yama and add Shyama. This is the fifth summon. Use circle, discard Shyama to special Yubel. Use Shyama's GY effect, destroy yubel Special Terror incarnate. Special Squirmer, Destroy incarnate. Use Incarnate and Throne (CL1 throne CL2 incarnate). Special a Spirit of Yubel from throne, and ultimate nightmare. Use Squirmer and Yama to make Rage. Use Shyama to destroy Spirit of Yubel. Use Spirit and Yama, special Spirit of yubel from yama and Yubel from spirit. Use squirmer to revive a spirit of yubel. Use 2 spirits to make the XYZ, Decanologe. Use terror and dark beckoning in gy for the fusion On EP, tribute Shyama for Yubel's maintenance cost (goes back to the deck), special Lotus. Then... you end up with a clean GY, so you can shifter in EP :) You can also use Ultimate Nightmare and the dark beckoning in hand for a second fusion. That way, you can destroy one fusion for the effect of the "negates" of samsara and the fusion and trigger throne to special a spirit of yubel (or base yubel). You'd do this because the fusion leaves the field as cost for it's effect, so it does not trigger throne. Should you get nib on the 5th summon, you can proceed in a similar fashion, as you get Yama in GY, Shyama and Squirmer in hand. You have a lot of gas and can end on a similar board. Basically, since you still have Throne, Shyama and Squirmer, Nib affects the endboard but you still do a board

So.... some examples of what happens if you get nib... On the fifth summon: Your Rage's Unchained soul will be Shyama, your maintenance cost will be the token, but you proceed in a similar fashion. On the revival of Yubel: I'd probably special Squirmer there so it goes to GY, revive spirit of yubel from Squirmer and use Shyama to destroy it, trigger yama and spirit to summon yubel and spirit. If Yama is CL1, it can destroy that normal yubel. That would trigger Yubel , special terror. Use Shyama's effect to destroy terror and use Throne's and terror.... On Shyama destroying yubel: Nib triggers Terror, you can special squirmer so it goes to GY, use Terror and Throne's effect and combo from there. Some things to keep in mind: If you save throne's effect, Nib triggers it. You can use the fusion (lvl 9) and squirmer to trigger Yama and throne. to have 2 lvl 10, then use Squirmer's effect to get base Yubel. Some parts of the combo i detailed in the other comment are interchangeable (specially near the end), for example, you can special the fusion after you trigger Terror to make nib not matter anymore. You can sequence the combo a bit different, just saying those 2 cards are full combo. The combo needs to be beast+throne, but.... if you play a brick (one target to beast to add when you start with gates), it can be done with gates and throne. Since you can use the lvl 9 fusion for squirmer, you can wait to use squirmer so you have a way to trigger yama and end up with at least the XYZ.

Ice barrier can send any level 5 water and recur any water from grave. You usually use it to dig for ice jade aegirine ran, but I’ve used it to recycle georgius before, so it’s more flexible. I was supposed to be running called by the grave in the deck, but I forgot to add it in

the issue is that we're already playing the good water synchros. There isn't a lot of benefit to playing the other waters, like gungnir, enigmaster packbit, or even the white aura monsters. I have seen a list that played Ib, but the problem I had with it was you were playing unnecessary bricks.

@@pkyugioh Alright, Im gonne spill a lot of my sauce. ggrrrr hopefully people wont widespread play it till the point it gets konamis attention and bans it. >_< 1) Free soft special summon lock Ive seen people talk about the water statue. so here is the other one. You can do this in two lines (A) off primadonna same as the statue but instead summon Testudo erat Numen ;-) (B) as Free bonus of the deep sea diva Ahashima gigantic spright Play. Summon deep sea diva ---> sp prince ---> sent dragoons add dragoons (search mouling) ---> special summon two or three goyo defenders -----> link2 into ahashima ----> use dragoons from grave and dragoons from hand ---> sp bahamutshark detach dragoons for toadally awesome (can also search moulinglacia here) ----> SP moulinglacia rip 2 ---> use the 3rd goyo defender and bahamut shark to sp any link2 monster ---> use mouling and toadally awesome to summon Coral Anemone. ----> overlay link2 monster + ahashima into gigantic spright ---> detach sp swap frog. swap frogs effect send another copy of swap frog to the grave ---> coral anemone special summon the other swap frog use the effect of swap frog again and send Testudo erat Numen to the grave ---> overlay the two swapfrogs on the field to create toadally awesome. Now when you managed to summon baronne de fleur prior to the deep sea diva play to protect yourself against handtraps, you can now use baronne de fleur standbyphase effect to sp Testudo erat Numen on your opponents turn. dodging the lv2 lock from gigantic spright. baronne should already have been used against an handtrap. Now you have a free resources toadally bonus soft special summon lock :D Note: Testudo erat Numen differs from the statue be warry of the macthup you have. seeing it is bonus you can side Testudo erat Numen. Seeing Testudo erat Numen has 1800def they cant get over it by a special summoned monster. because they cant special summon with 1800atk or higher :D ps. there are two other ways to get to the ahashima bahamutshark plays that I personally perfer over the goyo guardian plays. because it requires less extra deck space and doesnt block on the field. those are for another time. also there are wayyy better ways to get to gigantic spright I used this line because it fits most generically into everyone's deck. the downside is it does require more resources to create that additional link2 which involves using up your 1st toad. I dont like doing that, hence I have other ways. 2) Handtrap prevention turn 1 - turn2 board breaker (toadally awesome - ice barrier release) Special summon swap frog by discarding one water monster ---> use swap frog effect to send Mirror Magic Master of the Ice Barrier. ---> Use Mirror Magic Master of the Ice Barrier effect to add Freezing Chains of the Ice Barrier to the hand. ---> activate Freezing Chains of the Ice Barrier ---> sp Mirror Magic Master of the Ice Barrier ---> two lv2 aqua on the field go into swap frog. A two card omni negate 100% special summon. Now do your diva play. 3) Handtrap prevention turn 1 - turn2 board breaker (baronne de fleur) Like the combo above it involves only using special summoning off monsters to get to synchro lv10 then you can start your diva plays. - With icejade it can be done off 1 card combo but then it uses up your normal summon. - With Rahn and Genex Undine it becomes a 2-3 cardish combo and also uses up your normal summon - With instant fusion it becomes a 2-3 cardish combo but doesnt use up your normal summon This can be done depending what other cards you run like icejade tremora or soon the fishborg harpooner. At any rate you guys can sort of guess what kind of water deck I am running now :) Ill give you a huge bonus ---- > Cartorhyn the Hidden Gem of the Seafront <------- does a lot. it is a water monster that lets you normal summon again and it create gigantic spright much easier. Also it is a rock for draggite ;-) lastly I run small world this all works very very well together if you know what to do. it becomes harder to pilot. I like a challenge and am experienced with water ever since mermail atlantean release date. So there you have it :) now please dont let our shit get banned. ohyeah you can ofcourse also run shaddoll winda off gigantic spright but it requires to run two bricks, the payoff is worth it but for my water deck I like to keep it to omni negates and the statue /Testudo erat Numen seeing it is more consistent and resource friendly. Running the water deck like this is very strong seeing you can bait or negate handtraps consistently with resources at hand. You can also as a side combo line run the primadonna in this deck but notice your deck choices for the main and extra deck will become very very difficult :D

That rule applies only to trigger effects that activate in the hand. Because Sprit of Yubel and Nightmare Throne activate on the field, you can use activate and resolve both of them in the same chain.

@@pkyugiohthese trigger effects also apply to those that activate in the graveyard as well. Fire kings have these ruling too, especially with garunix and ponix if one is in the hand and the other is in the graveyard. The only difference i can see is spirit of yubel and nightmare throne special summon other monsters as opposed to themselves.

That’s true. You can’t activate sacred fire king garunix and legendary fire king ponix in the same chain. That’s because garunix’s summon effect can also summon it from hand, which means it’s treated as a trigger effect that can summon itself from your hand. And you can activate only one of those per chain

I don't play it for a few reasons. 1. It's an extra brick in a deck that already plays 2 of them and 2. If you choose to not banish yama, then you can't access the rank 10 negate.

The revival trap is probably the better one to play so you can revive rage as follow up, as yama is banished in the combo. also lets you end on yubel, sending rage for mandatory end phase effect, then you can revive it in opponent's turn

@@pkyugioh also I just wouldn't play ultimate nightmare, adding another Yubel brick isn't worth it from what I've tested, plus nightmare gets even worse post phantom with it's level being so far away from phantoms (12>9)

@@ryionizer3622 yeah, that's true. I know that many ocg lists do not play ultimate nightmare. That said, 1. I can't play yubel and not play all 3 and 2. I sometimes like having a monster waiting in the back if terror incarnate gets outed. Playing around Terror Incarnate is not difficult and if it gets outed, then you're reliant on the field spell to get you resources back. I didn't feel comfortable with that.

admittedly, I have yet to summon barricadeborg blocker. I've also had my entire backrow outed by a single zealantis. It would probably be a lot more relevant if you added masquarena.

If eternal favorite is activated as chain link 2, then when you summon spirit of yubel, you can activate its effect, because you’re not activating its effect when it’s summoned (i.e at the precise moment of its summons)
