Highlander Hybrid 4WDi In Ice and Snow

See what happens when I take my first generation Highlander Hybrid out in some super slick western North Carolina ice and snow. The first generation Highlander Hybrid Is known for a lot of things but not it’s four-wheel-drive prowess. The aggressive traction control on the 4WDi system has been reported to overcompensate in the snow and leave drivers stranded. My Highlander freshly fitted with M...

What is the best setting for using ipods As a hearing aid?
Wow thank you so much!! I was dealing with the transparency mode cutting in and out with static for months. I didn’t want to get rid of them, I just happened to click on this and it fixed it completely!! Thank you so much lol
You're welcome! Glad I could help!
"quick video" 6 minutes long....
Thanks a bunch. My airpods pro2 started chirping intermittingly since Apple updated the software to enable airpods a clinical grade hearing aids.
I was about to throw them in the trash. Thanks for posting.
I fixed the noise feedback by going to Bluetooth, click on air pods, turning off noise control
I had this problem and my left AirPod was the issue. It had such bad cracking and feedback I could only used the right AirPod and the microphone during calls was hit and miss. I noticed that the black fine perforated sensors were completely clogged with schmutz (epithelial material, oil, dirt, who knows?). I had to look very close at this area to see that the entire area was clogged... especially on the larger black surface on the exterior surface of the AirPod. I had a eureka moment... I've cleaned other perforated surfaces with the application of tape to try to remove the clogging material. This did not work on the AirPod because the perforations are just too small. Then i remembered that I once cleaned the recesses of a mechanical keyboard with Silly Putty and thought something like a similar tacky material would do the job on the AirPod. I teach drawing and tried taking a small bit of kneadable eraser and dabbed the perforated surfaces on the left AirPod. I could see that the clogged perforations were getting clean. After applying slightly more pressure I completely cleared both perforated surfaces on the left AirPod. No joy, it still crackled but not as bad. I noticed that the right AirPod's black fine perforated sensors were also completely clogged with schmutz. Then I thought maybe the issue with the left AirPod is exacerbated because the pair of AirPods communicate to provide noise cancelling and a clogged right AirPod could be the reason the left still had an issue. So I repeated the same process with the kneadable eraser and dabbed the perforated surfaces on the right AirPod. After the areas on both AirPods were cleaned the left unit works perfectly with no crackle or feedback and the sound from both is now like new!! This might also work with "bluetack" used to temporarily tack up posers and other paper to walls. Give it a shot.
None of this solved my problem but Sony eat phones did.
+1 on the video. I think this just fixed a family member’s issue with the Air Pods Pro 2. There was an annoying reverb / static problem that occurred constantly when running water, background noise, etc while the AirPods were in Transparency mode.
Even though the mic holes in silver bands looked clean, there was definitely stuff stuck in there
Just now im totally annoyed by the hissing sound everytime the bus i ride bumps or vibrates a lot. I just did a hard blow on the mic hole and it immediately fixed the issue! Those apple community forum were useless. Thanks man.
Yes! Works on airpod pro 2 too!
Thanks!! you saved me money...
Thanks!
WOW!!! thank you so very much for sharing your experience! totally helped me out.
Omg God bless you
Omg God bless you
I have had these for over two years and never noticed these mics.
This is actually helpful 😊
Outstanding presentation! Thank you. I love my new AirPod Pro 2. I used them on my Apple TV on the big screen and did not need to struggle with hearing dialog.

Best buds jbl samsung huawei jabra oraimo
still not working, only the sensor is working
It worked 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
They made it so stupid way !!!
Great video and finding. Never new there was a mic at bottom 😮
this worked! i used a spare toothbrush to get all the gunk out. thank you!
Good Lord you’re the Man! The only working video on internet. Thank you a lot!!
my issue is pretty similar but not exactly, so when i use transparency mode, one of them is obviously not as clear as the other one, couldnt find anything about it on the internet currently
but the audio itself of the airpods is fine, only the transparency
Thanks so much, I was thinking they were stuffed, so glad I found your video!
Done everything, nothing worked.😢
Finally a video out of many I've seen that addresses an issue I'm having. I had no idea about the small tiny microphone at the bottom but it definitely had something to do with what's going on. My issue with mine are that the noise control wasn't functioning correctly. I could turn on any of the three options but wouldn't be able to discern any difference from transparency to noise canceling. I cleaned out the small tiny mic then my right side started working again but left side after cleaning is still will not working correctly. Not sure if I missed something or what. Thank you for making a video about this that others didn't mention.
Vdo start from 3rd mnt. Thnx me ltr
Thanks, this acc helped!!!
I thought my transparency mode was broken... because it crackled and had crashes. After cleaning everything was as before. Thanks a lot
This worked after a few cleanings. The first few times didn't really do anything but now they work great. If it doesn't work at first try again.
Not working for me
Her Idk I feel like my AirPods aren’t playing audio at the same time and that sometimes oneside has is louder then the other mostly the left and I feel like my right AirPod feels heavy or something
Good and simple. Thanks
Hello Adam. Useful information. What l do not understand is that i am not iphone user. Can i buy an airpod and adjust its settings and use it without a phone. So the airpod does not pick up the sounds from the phones microphone? Can it be a hearing aid on its own?
You will need an apple device (iPhone or iPad) for the initial configuration. After that, the settings stay on your AirPods Pro regardless of the device you use.
i used washing maschine not directly but i put it in my jean and washed it guess what it worked
apple definitely need to fix the charging design and make the whole thing easier to clean
Wow, I had experienced the same issue for two different pairs with seemingly no answer online and this worked for both. Thank you.
This was three years ago but my AirPod pros play out of the bottom speaker and I don’t understand why
Thank you
Oh my god, do you know that I opened my left airpod pro 2 and nothing, but I used a toothbrushed and now its fine , thank you ❤ regards from chile 😊
Huge thank you. This video help me a lot.
it always the fucking left airpod i swear
