@@PoloSTK ah ok. Hi Luis. Is there a beginning or intermediate band at cholla? I recommend joining the band so you can get your chops going. Try that for a year or at least a semester. Then go back to mariachi . I will start posting more mariachi trumpet tutorials soon.

I can sing vibrato incredibly well, and I also used to play trumpet. But even after watching this I don't understand the connection. It would be easier if I had a trumpet and could follow along but holy shit that sounds beautiful I'd love to hear a technical breakdown of what youre doing exactly
Thank you for your kind comment, vocal vibrato technique works for for classical trumpet vibrato, from my experience, Mariachi trumpet players use their embouchure to creat mariachi style trumpet vibrato. In this video I tried to explain that I slightly open the aperture to creat “wahs” in the sound. It’s almost exactly like crescendo and decrescendo but much faster creating a fat sounding vibrato. Hopefully this helps.
