Goodday! I got so busy at work that's why this is a very late reply and i'm sorry for that. If you buy after market lights(headlights, tail lights) usually these are 12v rating. So they have to be supplied with 12v power as well. You may use a dc-dc stepdown converter. Check this link,.. i made a tutorial on how to wire stepdown converter on a controller with 36v-72v battery. th-cam.com/video/QZGm2g3TSvs/w-d-xo.html Most electric scooter stock lights(headlight/tail lights) are designed to work with the scooter battery(eg; 36v,48v,) The voltage rating of the load(lights) and the power supply(battery) must be in the same voltage rating.

Goodday! I'm glad this video helped you out. Regarding about the stock lights and the tail lights, the stock controller has specific output wires. Color red & black that delivers 48v for the stock light and tail lights The power switch lock has nothing to do. For the U5 LED headlight and the eagle eye LED lights, i made a separate wirings. Separate battery(12v) too. Ride safe always!

Goodday! It's highly recommended to connect two batteries with same age, chemistry & type in parallel connection. You can also do plug and play. When the other battery is low just simply disconnect and then connect the other one. If your battery is not that old and is working properly then you can connect with a new one. Must be same voltage. During the procedure both batteries must be in the same voltage charge. Ride safe always!

Use silicon wire, heatshrink and fuse. Try to make the wiring clean as possible. Use correct wire gauge.

My controller is 20Ah max. So if i parallel 2 batteries then the ah will be 15+12=27Ah. Is it ok or shall i leave it to single battery?

Goodday! Yes, its ok! You can do parallel connection. Make sure both batteries are in good condition. Same type, chemistry, voltage. Just follow the tutorial video i made. Ride safe always!

You can use same controller. Yes, you will get 27Ah (capacity).

Good day! You mean it works even if the blue wire is left disconnected?

Yan na un luma pre, upgraded lang.

Goodday! Make sure you connect the blue wire(ignition) to the key lock wire(controller). And the yellow wire((ignition) to the battery positive output linked to the controller positive input.

Are you using same key ignition switch like the one in the video?

I think I figured it out. I had to split the key lock wires. Red (full voltage) to yellow, orange to blue. The display was on because the controller was on the whole time.

Goodday! Sorry for the late reply. Yes, it is safe. You can use same charger but it will take more time when charging the two batteries at the same time due to large capacity(Ah) I feel more torque after adding battery. Speed stays the same. The range that my scooter can reach got doubled. Ground clearance is approximately 7cm. You have a 4 months old battery,..that's ok as long as its working properly. Be carefull while doing this modification. Watch carefully the positive and the negative wire of the battery. Avoid touching each other as this may damage the battery and worst it could cause fire. Just follow step by step the video. Use silicon wire, its highly recomended. Ride safe always!

No need to get new controller. When you do parallel connection it will increase the capacity(Ah) of your battery. The bigger the capacity, the farher your scooter can go.
