I am considering upgrading my 2013 Prius audio. I believe a great accomplished ish can be acheieved by simply replacing the factory amps with quality aftermarket amps with higher power. Even a multi-channel amps.. I would need to access the outputs fhat hook up to the present outputs (the "preamp" outputs on what be on traditional audio systers and seen on the scematic diagram.

PLEASE HELP! I replaced the bad inverter with a good used one from my other Prius I connected the two batteries again (making sure the orange plug is locked in) and the car now won't start .lt stil says check hybrid system but the engine won't even come on now. checked all the - connections and hoses. Am I missing something ?Please help

Great video, except for the coolant on the bottom left emptied my entire hybrid coolant tank. Need to have something to catch it or figure out a way to not have it drain everything out

Butt crimps work well. If salt mist is an issue seal with liquid electrical tape.

People saying the exhaust only has 2 bolts I bet the guy doing this just took a quick video of those butt connectors because he was proud of the work and hadn’t finished putting the nuts on the exhaust manifold yet. Obviously splicing them with solder would have been the better repair but sometimes people don’t have a soldering iron and solder and this is a cheaper and easier option and should hold for at least a year or two.

He bought the cold packs independently. All of those cold packs is made for that vehicle. He just bought from cheapest to expensive cheap expensive.

A neighbor kid came to me saying his car wouldn't start. He had bought a new fuel pump and asked if I could help him install it. We started working on it, and I looked and was like pump isn't your issue. I saw a BUNCH of wiring like that and NO FENDER liners. I saw what's up here. He said his mechanic buddy helped him install aftermarket headlamp kit. Issue was a bunch of blown fuses. I had to help him completely rewire the headlamps. Seems they threw away the fender liners though which was no Bueno either.

Hi thanks for the video I have a Prius Gen3 and replaced the hybrid battery in 2021 and now I got the same message 'Check hybrid system' and the error is showing DC converter performance. Does this means need to replace the inverter? Thanks
