@@dryrunoutdoors finer clippings and spread better. I had a 740r and I just upgraded to a 760r but I'm still down 8 horsepower from yours. You could probably run a a triple blade setup on each of your spindles Your mower will get louder with the dual setup, but once you run it I doubt you'll go back to one blade

We run the stock Deere blades. Have 2 sets of it

Yes the smaller zero turns would absolutely handle this property. For the first year, We borrowed my dad’s 2006 John Deere 720A to mow. It was a 48 inch. It was a great cut. No issues with the zero turn. It took much longer to mow. Not as many creature comforts (no tweels, no comfort glide seat.) We also mowed a few times with our John Deere 2025R tractor. I value my time the most that’s why we went with a big 72 inch. At the time I did not consider any other brands. The ones I was mainly looking at were the Z970R, Z994R, and Z997R.

Our goal is to film more often this year. Josh mows and Andrea films. Andrea just finished college so she will be available to film more often now!

I try to stay out of the light mud, once I feel it slipping I just move out of that area and wait for it to drh

@@dryrunoutdoors yeah I try to too but sometimes it doesn’t happen the way I want it to and I get stuck. Oddly I town it out with the 994 with “normal” tires.

We paid 12ish for it in January 22. It was used. 2021 model with 40 ish hours on it. I’d definitely buy used right now, the market is prime for low hour zero turns

This is the plan for now. Whenever we decide to get a new truck, we may look in to an F250. It'l open up more options for us

Having done the f150 to f250 route I just went back to a f150. My boat is around 10k. You have to be towing heavy and regular to justify the f250 in my mind. The current 150's are so good

@@brianfraser1038 they are great. And they have made some big improvements from 2016 to 2024. Our limitations are towing skid steers, mini excavators, larger tractors

Can’t go wrong with a tractor! We opted to save for the zero turn for mowing purposes. Takes 2.5 hours for us to mow our yard with the Z turn. With a tractor it would be 5 hrs.
