Мой любимый фильм про дороги. И из-за него, в том числе, я стал водителем )) My favorite movie about roads. And, among other things, because of him, I became a driver ))
good job,thanks
Can we see a video of it put back together how low it goes and how comfortable it is now
Remember everyone! Just because it works, doesn't mean it's gonna last. 😢
No disrespect but... that's a Jimmy rig job you did. Those parts will not last long bolted together like that. Remember. The cab bounces while going down the road and it drops when there's no air in the system. You shouldn't have eliminated the frame bracket that holds the elbow or the top flex bracket. Those parts are critical for a long lasting exhaust system on the Columbia and Century Class models.
Very nice looking setup, thanks for taking the time to make a very informative video.
Good Video. I'm going to add 7 inch on the back of my Columbia but I am concern about with the exhaust mounted rigid to the frame and then the stack mounted to a moving cab. Have you had any issues with the flex pipe breaking? Thanks for your help
Off course he had issues. He did it the wrong way. He eliminated the crucial parts of the exhaust system.
Bro. Those pipes get up to over 1100 degrees! Why would he bolt them to the back of the cab like that? And there's not enough room for cab bounce. 😢
Мне кажется что крепить трубы к кабине не очень хорошо, ведь она на падушках, сильно гуляет. Будет рвать гофры, нужно крепить к раме, будет правельней.
LOVE THIS VIDEO BRO‼️🔥🤜🏽🤛🏽B SAFE OUT THERE BROTHER GOD BLESS 🙏🏽
What length are your pipes
I have an 05 that doesn't have a tilt or telescope on it ? Looking for good way to push down & tilt
Good informative video bro 👍....but u lost me when u said 4200 😂😂😂😂 looks good tho...cost alot to be cool
You still got vgt turbo?
I think he got rid of the vgt turbo & went with a borgwarner s475
I hate that whooshing sound those vgt make.
I have a Coronado glider, Detroit down pipe is "S" style, and anyone looking for the S pipe on a Detroit equipped freightliner Century, Columbia or Coronado, the Freightliner Classic used the exact same pipe. I replaced mine and a dealer was being ignorant because "gliders are difficult to find parts for", so I asked for an S pipe for a classic. Great vid bro, absolutely well detailed.
Hey bro when the cab bounce up and down do that not hurt the straight pipes
Do you no the part number for the bracket that goes on the frame to the exhaust on the driver side?
Thank you!! this video help me a lot!
Can I do this to a cascadia
Not out the back of the sleeper. I have seen a few Cascadia with pipes up the side like peterbilt but it is a big job
Why two different sizes? Will same size all round work?
Thank you brother trucker. The one behind the mirror on the outside had me stumped 🤷🏿♂️👍🏿
While my brother was in high school, he loved band. He could play the trumpet, trombone, baritone, some guitar, and wanted to learn how to play the alto sax as well. He was in the marching band, which provided him with some structure, and even wanted to go to school for band. He graduated high school in 2019, and passed away September 22nd, 2022. His old band program dedicated this song to him at their most recent winter concert. It's beautiful and I know he would have loved it.
Does your truck air lines run down the middle or on the left
Nice video
Thank you! I was trying to send a video to a friend to instruct him how to insert the green clip properly. I was amazed how many TH-cam'rs are doing it the wrong way! The rod tip is designed to LOCK the clip into the lever hole. With the rod inserted into the clip, it is NOT supposed to be able to be pulled out of the hole in the lever! [If you force it, you will round off the plastic barbs that hold it secure in use] Quick critique of you demonstration, for those that need to re-use the clip (my friend did not get a new clip with his new latch): Do not pry out the clip from the latch, as you did; unclip the rod from the clip FIRST, and THEN it will pop out easily from the latch! Re-install in reverse; as you quit correctly point out in your tip at the end! Here is my 'canned' response to 'tubers' who show it wrong: Too many people pry out the clips (from the levers) while they still have the rod inserted. This it will damage them and cause them to be prone to falling out in use. The way those clips work is that the rod expands the fingers in the latch lever hole, such that they can't come out (or be inserted), once the rod is inserted. The rod has to be disengaged FIRST, before the green clip can be removed from the latch (or left in if reusing it). The clearance is designed such, that, with the rod absent, the 'fingers' can squeeze together and clear the hole diameter. Once in place, inserting the rod then expands the finger 'tips' in place, and locks the clip into the hole! [generally, the fingers expand on their own when inserted fully into the lever hole; the rod just keeps them there]. ONLY THEN insert the rod, and 'rotate' the clip's 'tail' until it snaps over the rod shank... Whenever you remove these types of clips, you FIRST 'rotate' the 'tail' of the clip, unsnapping it from the 'shank' of the rod, far enough to remove the rod. THEN remove the rod tip, from the clip/lever (clip remains in the LEVER, NOT on the rod). NOW, (if you have a new one), you can pull the clip out of the lever, and install the new one. Install; reverse the process, Clip in lever first, then rod into clip, and snap clip tail onto the rod shank. DONE! Mr K L
It looks like, why is one out from the cab it’s a shade tree job and I’m being nice
You could have just said nothing but you chose to be a c*nt
Where in Florida you at bro
Hey great content, just having trouble finding these specific sizes, would you be willing to provide a link thanks
Where did you purchase the stacks
THANK YOU
🔥🔥🔥🔥
This one wasn’t air equipped ?
Yes it has the yellow button on the floor to tilt and telescope
Question, where were you able to purchase the 2 different size spacers from? Do you have any link to to share?
My local hardware store
@@peterbilt484 what is the name of your local hardware store? This would help me to see exactly where I can find these sizes because I’ve had no luck thus far.
@@derekurquhart1132 it's called Butterfield hardware I believe, but ace hardware should have them also.
@@peterbilt484 thanks a ton. Ace didn’t have them.
The first truck was called Dead mans hand built by outlaw customs in Denver
Looks good
Hey bro what’s the length size on the stacks?
96 inch
Yessssirrrrrrrrrr …. Damnnnnitttttt mannn!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 thanks for this bro 😎 … can you do a riding video next .. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 what’s your IG … I’ll like to follow your journey brother. 🙌🏾
Love the set up, good work. I wanna hear it
Man come on get to the other side I want to hear it run
Looking good my man looking good but you try to explain everything to a tea and that is not very necessary and you need to work as you talk
Nice set up bro 🔥
Good video brotha you should make a video of how it came out with both done and how it sounds
Great video.. Just put 7" on my 98 Century
Love your vids especially bumper and visor vid 🤟🏾🚛
You are doing too much unnecessary explanation but good content anyway
Hi !just a quick insight ,did you put into consideration that the truck frame and the truck cabin have two different articulations.if you look at the oem set up of the stack the bracket that actually holds it to the cabin has a moving joint that allows the up and down movement. If you don't allow that movement in your set up it will stress your flex pipe that joins the elbow & make it break.(you will be changing that quite often).
The stock setup has it because the elbow is frame mounted. You don't need that when stacks are cab mounted. It's the same way it's done on Peterbilts.
@@peterbilt484 Thats cool!that makes sense. The reason I brought up the point is because,I had a century and I ran into the problem of my flex pipe breaking every now and then until I took it to a mechanic who worked at freightliner and realized that that cabin bracket was too tight and didn't allow any movement. After we loosened it, i never ran into that issue again.
Thank you brother, be safe and keep trucking
@@tonyk2757 No problem! Glad to help
I said the same thing. You're right!
This guy is not smart at all exhaust is not hard to get on and alien up he needs to stay home out of trucking
What size stacks bro
7 inch i think he said
he said 7
are you a truck driver
FYI you can get a tilting steering column from a junk yard for pennies and its a direct fit. Get one out of a century or classic they all fit
It does tilt I just wanted it a little lower since I sit further back
Nice video man , cuestión do you put back cover plastic
Yes but you must modify it or make one that fits better
Good video Sir, even better doing your own work.. money saved
Bruh I’ve been looking for the last year or so that I’ve had my 2003 century for a video like this. Thanks Bruh all the way from Birmingham Alabama!
