Caroline Aherne as herself. Her incredibly funny self.

From BBC One - The Stand Up Show - April 1995 (Comedy from the stand-up circuit. Tonight, Caroline Hook (alias Mrs Merton ), Paul Tonkinson and Phill Jupitus. Hosted by Barry Cryer)
Aspiring female comedians should definitely watch this.
Sadly mist ❤GOD BLESS❤ And thank sweet❤❤
Reminds me of kevin turvey lol
Just how much does everyone miss her? Only every day. A genius. She made us so proud because along with Craig Cash she explained our lives to the rest of the world. Victoria has gone, Caroline has gone. The world is much poorer for their passing.
Imagine paying money to listen to this ,i cant bye bye
Such a top person x
Unique and beautiful and brilliant.
Caroline hook ?
She was married to Peter Hook
That was one of the cleverest stand ups I’ve seen!!! Impeccable timing, unbelievable
That “She didn’t get the point of it at all” is one of the best lines but I think the crowd miss it because they’re already in stitches. Probably the best stand up routine I’ve ever seen and there’s not a single joke. I could cry about her not being here any more as if I knew her. Bless her.
She was not a very nice or honest person. She had Bernard Manning on her show just to stitch him up. However, she found it impossible not to laugh at Bernard's jokes. What a hypocrite she was..
She was class bless you Caroline RIP beautiful
Love Caroline. Legend RIP x ❤
Totally unfunny
Comedy is subjective
@@RosieHarp It certainly is.
Sorely missed.
She was funny as. But more importantly, she was a family member. And her loss as sad as it is for us will be massive for the really special people in her life. But thank you for making life seem like an interlude in a play. You are a shining star. , nice one. ❤💙
BEAUTIFUL LADY, BEAUTIFUL MIND,
I watch this at least once a week!
about 6 weeks lmfao
She is a genius and I wished she was still with us xxxx
really good
What a talent. Sadly missed.
She was a great stand-up. RIP
She was beautiful. RIP 🙏 legend.
Did iSkysoft really have to put their stupid, oversized logo over her face?
Why aren't women funny?
Eeeee. Bloody tragic. I genuinely miss her dreadfully 💔
very very effortlessly charming
Caroline Aherne dies while Boris Johnson lives. Life definitely isn’t fair.
She was so attractive. Miss her.
RIP caroline truly missed 1 of UKs finest comedians
Loved her in the Fast Show
Beautiful Caroline, gone way too soon. R.I.P.
Talent off the scale.
Great talent
That girl was something else. Unique.
I just put that is for some comedy , sums it up really
Such original talent, Heaven is lucky to have her now.
One of the funniest women of that, or any generation. She could probably tell these stories for hours! Mrs Merton allowed her to inject more bite into her comedy, and The Royle Family more warmth. Caroline (and Craig Cash, of course, who made both those shows with her) was amazing.
I have been re-watching most of Mrs Merton recently. It is superb. It is really funny, the interactions with guests and the audience are brilliant. It is so impressive how sharp her mind is. I read the other day that she got nine grade As in her O Level exams-not surprising.
ThT were right clever and real funny
Saw her in 1993 with a couple of guys going into a chemists, Boots, in The Strand.
Zero fat one that set
I saw her at the Buzz club in Chorlton in 1990, she was just brilliant
She was a genius ❤
Mrs Merton and Royle Family are 2 of the funniest shows to be made. You never hear her mentioned much but she was such a big part of my childhood. Fast Show as well. Miss her!
Totally unique, a very special and wonderful person. A rare talent that sadly left us decades too soon. Just like this weekend we lost another comedic genius and kind soul.
Well . She certainly improved,thank goodness…..R.I.P.🙏
What a brilliant talent ….. she’s sadly missed 😢
I've had 3 British cars, all given to me by my father and I have to thank British Leyland for forcing me to learn how to fix virtually EVERYTHING that can go wrong with a motor vehicle.
I guess "this lad" was Peter Hook.
