I've played since the launch of Wrothgar brother I understand what you are saying like man some thing the devs. have or rather haven't done or copied and pissed a lot of us off but watching you destroy your experience makes me sad and I remember my old guild that I belonged to on ps4 where I reached 810 cp before new changes to champion tree that was where I decided to move on to pc and I loved it except that I had to start over it I understand that you have to let it go then there is the issues about Zos and they are not doing what the community wants sorry for the random thoughts sometimes I don't stay on the topic but you hit the nail on the head but maybe you are hitting the head a little to hard, you can walk away and say for the most part you enjoyed yourself with the game but it's time for you to start a new main game and you want to give eso a rest and maybe slim possibility but maybe you will come back and start over unless you quite after the sticker book came out if so you'll have a great start if not well you'll have to collect all of that stuff again, the added benefit is that you know how to play already, I quite playing a couple of times over the ten years and just started back and I'm enjoying myself because I don't have the pressure of hey that guys been playin for a long time cause I'm doing solo or random not part of a guild just out for myself except I kinda have to help when I see someone is struggling and thats where I shine >>>>>>>>>>>>>

I've tried to play this game in different ways and after chasing the meta I realized that most enjoyable exeprience for me is just theory crafting casual builds and role play. I dont see how ESO can be considered a good game outside the casual aspects of it. Its just boring repetitive grind for meta that keeps shifting all the time. And also dont forget to add daily chores to grindy loot system. This game can have so much better potential but ZOS dont care at all

Why would you destroy everything you have been grinding for many years? I stopped playing ESO multiple times since launch. Sometimes for over a year. I enjoy coming back sometimes and enjoy the positive aspects of the game. Currently I have a good time playing the new class. I already know I will lose interest in 1-2 months and disappear for another year or so but it’s refreshing to come back every now and then.

Dude literally thinks a game is life, that's the first problem. Go outside, don't take the game seriously. The only achievement you need to worry about is your own family, and career. This is a sickness if you are thinking something in a game matters.

Its sad, but this happens to every MMO. At least you got 3500 hours of fun and memories.

"they don't see players, they see wallets" - Welcome to modern gaming(MMOs have kinda always been this way though, f2p ones at least). that perfectly sums up every single game company out there now. They don't care, they just want your money, and will use every trick they can to get you to spend your money. They rely on you not having the time to grind for all this crap, so they can nickel and dime you to death in their online market places. It's well past time for a gaming boycott. Not just a single game, not just a single company, but the entirety of the industry. FOMO doesn't exist in the gaming space at this point, because lets be honest all they're pushing right now is shovel-ware. They don't care, they certainly don't really listen unless they're getting threats(don't threaten people just learn your lesson and punish them by not ever buy anything from them again) over social media by enough people. I've already started down this route the last several years, the only "new" games I'm going to be getting is things given away for free on epic and steam. I'm just kinda done buying games at this point. Maybe once their attitudes towards the players improve to a high enough expectation they'll get my money again; but not a cent until then. 🤷

ESO is primarily a PVE game. Simple as that. There are all kinds of skill lines, items, and many other things that can ONLY be obtained by PVE. PVP is just a nice addition for those who enjoy it. You can enjoy the entire game and never set foot in Cyrodil....

Whenever I've had enough of ESO, I just play Destiny for a couple weeks and then I'm like "ESO is freaking awesome."

I quit the game 2 years ago for similar reasons, especially after playing classic WoW and old school RuneScape I realised how little your time is rewarded in ESO.

Sad that I didn’t look into the game enough to not spend 60 dollars on this for Xbox, but glad that I quit super early on.

they should hade made it like a title where you get to reset your champion ppoints and gain some perk or quirk after you reset and a title related to it otherwise people lose interest after you have all the champion points

Yeah you have a point about Eso how it is shite now I only got into it about 3 years ago, But i found couldharbour really hard and boring the I really hated the hallow city quest I wish you could skip it . but I liked elsweyr quest, mostly for the dragons also Eastmarch quests with stromfist clan and raiding the fort. Also I quite liked the Skald-King, quests as well. And bleakrock isle with a certain with a rouge dragon priest which you have to save. And other side quests here and there also. But I only relayed eso when I finished Skyrim and to restart the series from the beginning. But in eso I really the combat system, I found the controls really bloody clunky. I just to prefer to play Skyrim instead It had way beter quests and the nps were a lot better than eso npc's just because npc's had way more dialogue and interacted with you. Also you have anther good point on the people who made Eso they don't care they fans they only care about your money stacks. for micro transactions it very much reminds of the anther games company who I know cockstar games who failed miserably on red dead onine because cockstar prefer to give their fans the fat middle finger.

Deleting everything is just silly. Put the game down and come back if it changes, if it doesn't then you don't come back. You have essentially taken away any chance of your return because of the current state of the game. At the end of the day it's just a game and should be treated as such.

6 yr 'tryhard X-er' pvp player before I quit over a yr ago, It's amazing that they ignore the raid and the pvp community, the 2 communities that put the most hours into the game, And just try to milk the casuals coming in and out of the rotating door. I quit because they don't care, and the performance is just... the worst... literally the worst connection in a game I've ever played... and I played Diablo 1 over dial up when i was a kid.. If the game worked and they listened to the community when balancing their game, I'd still be playing and spending money... Unfortunately they are all idiots. Salute for this video.

I’m new to end game/veteran content and I can definitely see the lack of players running trials. Must not be much incentive anymore like the video mentions. Alot of prices have skyrocketed too. I’m trying to help a friend acquire dro mathra style pages for a complete armor set but these used to sell at 20-40k a piece years ago. Nowadays they sell for 200-500k.

ZOS became a toxic company. They made manager decisions not make the game "too good". They didn't invested money to server improvement and code rework for years despite it was promised many times. They are lying to the community and their forum is redacted North Korea style. We told them thousand times not to nerf in u35 but they did it and told us we have "knee-jerk" reactions. I suspect they want engamers to leave, decrease the load on the server by making endgame content inaccessible and scam new inexperienced players with existing content. It is all fraud, lies and greed in pure form. It is not a fun anymore as each aspect in this game will sooner or later make you pay or spent countless hours on something you don't want to do. Never pay anything to ZOS as you will regret it in the future.

It made me sad to watch your video, listening to how much you put into this game. I, for one, am sorry you had to leave eso.

I think you made the right choice. ESO is an example of the perfect product, but governed by idiots who make terrible design choices. PvP is the only reason I log in there anymore. Once that breaks or a better alternative comes, its a delete everything conclusion

And that guys it is why people should stop crying for meta and crap since every piece of gear and what not is viable for every content and trial unless you want the super optimal party and then cry because of powercreep, whoever feel frustrated to grind the new ''meta'' set because one random dude said so, it's on them. '' powercreep everywhere,raids super easy'' but don't forget your super expansive potion that gives you tons of powercreep and bis gear, if not you are out of the raid! Ruined economy?...it's so easy to make gold that it became irrilevant and even new players can afford materials for upgrading pretty easily, without counting that the phantomatic potions are easy to craft as well..and still offering '' carry services '' for a ton of money..how dispicable. For me that kind of entitlement and bullshittery what's ruins a game, not devs that doesn't want to listen to the loud minority. And they listen and before saying, not they don't, try to think the grand scheme of things instead what you personally would like and priorities,it's a game for everyone not for a specific group of people.

Seems ESO is hitting that same rut WoW did around Pandaria and Draenor. Which, oddly enough, was also just before the 10 year mark.

ZoS has been milking players for years, the only thing that changed is that they lost their shame and they don't even care anymore.

I dont think your points were supported by deconstructing and giving away your stuff. Whatever credibility could have been used to trust the message was lost when you decided to stop caring. For example, why would anyone trust anyone already in the path of defeatism? There is also a contradiction when it comes to being sad about doing something, while making a video about it. There is a level of deception to it. Also I also dont think that zenimax is obligated to tailor the game to your liking, particularily with how the major complaint is how the difficulty was managed, these things are not decided out of nowhere, the success of the game depends on these things, not maintaining the happiness of the hardcore trials community. it gets highlighted specifically when you mention that zenimax doesnt see trials or pvp players, just wallets.. what about solo players? roleplayers? people that play to escape, not to compete? what about people that just like the lore of the elder scrolls? its sad to hear you tell people to not try the game because of the small opinion of a few hardcore trials and pvp players that feel that playing the game for so long means that the game owes them something and that they deserve to have creative control over it. there is a positive caviat, most likely all of these changes factor in possible pushback, so all in all these changes will have players like you quit, but its still an overall good change to the longevity of the game. we have to remember that eso is a dominant force in the mmo space regardless if a small group of pvp and trials players proclaim doom and gloom

Sorry to see you go brother wish you the best, in Life and gaming. This is what happens when ZOS doesn't listen to it's community. I have taken time off recently and only return because a large portion of my guild still plays the game. But I know many players like you who have left and will be missed.
