I can't see what you're doing. I cannot get the atmos speakers to fire on mine for the life of me an cannot find a video that will show me how to make them work.

Such a small and ugly display-- Yamaha should feel ashamed.. allmost as ugly as the design of the receiver itself.

The display on the Yahaha is a bad joke... i hate it.

Thank you Chris. The hands on is very useful to know on how to remove the lid which really came in useful. My KLF04 (temp control) hinge broke one of its 2 arms and so I sourced a hinge replacement on ebay (scavenged off a sim broken kettle). My god was it tough to change over as the 5 screws are quite inaccessible 'within' the kettle and they also hold to handle on. After about 2hrs wrestling with it and less quite a bit of skin on my knuckles I managed the change over only to discover that the internal sliding mechanism (which sticks on your video) is now a slightly different design (more akin to a lever than a wedge) and the lid plunger depresses on it when refitted so the tang/clips won't engage to allow the lid to clip closed. GOD DAMN but is it an awkward and infuriating blooming design OR designed not to be changed but rather we purchase a new very expensive kettle.......🤬. But I am not beaten quite yet as I am looking to get a redesigned lever piece 3D printed by a colleague top try to get the lid plunger to mate better . If only life was quite as effortless as your video mate ha ha

a question...I have the RX A2A...menu seems identical. When I follow the steps, I never see ATMOS displayed in the menu on screen or on the front display. I see 'PCM', i do see that i'm connected as 5.1.2 but no explicit ATMOS listed. Should I be seeing this when I play a blu ray with an ATMOS track?

Hey friend, I need some information regarding the Yamaha rx-a6a. I have recently installed this receiver in a cinema. The cinema has 4 speakers in ceiling, (already installed before this receiver) I have connected those speakers to front presence and rear presence posts. All other speakers are installed and connected according to thethe 7.1. Now, the question question is, what setting should I choose that can automatically playback the atmos, 7.1 . 5.1 without manual selection Secondly, what are the scenes that one should must setup on macro buttons of remote? Thanks
