The Team Brazil Scholarship aims to provide opportunities for young Brazilian race car drivers to better their careers. The Scholarship will pick 6 drivers The drivers we pick will be based on their racing performances wherever they are racing. Once the 6 drivers are confirmed then the judges will assess those 6 drivers on racing results, performances and interviews to choose the winner. The winner of the Scholarship will take part in the Formula Ford Festival and will follow in the footsteps of many great drivers, with Brands Hatch being the track Ayrton Senna took his first car victory at. This event has an illustrious history, having so far been won by 3 Brazilians and been a fantastic stepping stone for countless drivers.

O Roberto venceu este campeonato de 1988 da forma mais improvável possível. Com uma equipe mínima, sem grana (a partir da terceira corrida, passaram a correr com o dinheiro dos prêmios), mas com muita determinação e o extremo conhecimento técnico de Moreno, as 3 vitórias consecutivas a partir do Grand Prix de Pau, praticamente garantiram o título da temporada. Foi provavelmente uma das maiores zebras do automobilismo mundial. Crazy that there weren't more deaths from broken necks and BSF. It's hard to imagine there was a time before the HANS device, especially in open wheel.
There were fatalities in this class, you just don't hear about them these days.
Very sadly there were and still are horrendous accidents, they just don't make it into the news. A guy last year in the historic class had an extremely bad accident. I won't go into details, but it was worse than Billy Monger's. I've known many others. It's one reason I stopped single seater racing - I'm also a very keen runner. I do miss driving the cars though - nothing compares.
Yeah, imagine that. Why it’s almost as if broken necks and BSF weren’t the scourge of all motor racing that they were made out to be. But once the HANS device was introduced, my God, every driver who bent a toe link against a barrier had had his very life SAVED by the HANS. Bollocks
