Hi Paul. RD9 No1 shade, but the video doesn't reflect what it actually looks like in the flesh..it's much sharper. Nick
Is that Tartan Red RD3 number 1 or 2?
What happened to the railway line
It was restored. That's Llangollen station. www.llangollen-railway.co.uk/
old range rover looks like it handles it a bit better. wheel base and coils I suppose make the difference. or were the springs leaf in the old days for the range rover?
4:29 The Land Rover shown (OPA566) belonged to my grandad. He was chuffed to bits to see his ‘15 seconds of fame’ on national telly again. He bought the car as a wreck in 1962 when he was 17 and restored it to its former glory, painting it grey and fitting a truck cab. In about 1969/70 he installed a Rover V8 engine - I am to believe that he was the first person to fit one into an original Land Rover. There’s a photo he has of a crowd of people looking under the bonnet at this new-fangled engine in a £50 car. He eventually sold it in 1977 and bought a much more practical Rover P6. OPA566 was last taxed in 1992 but I’m adamant it’s still out there somewhere, in a barn or a farm waiting to be discovered.
I put this video on I also have some colour fotage I will upload soon.
At 4.20 the range rover with the strange exhaust was prepared in our garage SNUFFMILL GARAGE SHEFFIELD can be seen on the side of it.
@@nickwardley9668 Wow yes I'd love to see that and so would my grandad
