The Dangerous Reality of Weather Radar Gaps
มุมมอง 3.5K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
In March 2022, drivers on I-81 were not warned of sudden onset white out conditions. Why? The gap in weather coverage in Southeastern Pennsylvania. And this gap is not unique - hundreds of thousands of Americans live in an area with poor weather coverage. Let’s talk about it. This video is gold! No matter how many books you read, resume's you edit, there is nothing like going through the Product Lifecycle yourself. Thanks Alex!
This is a gold mine.
wet surface air cooler, located at the thousands of 'power plants' across the world
Every little detail shared in this 6 min video is super informative and helpful. Thankyou so much
This was so cool! I absolutely loved the visuals and notes. Definitely different form your other videos but it's so professionally done and the info is incredibly digestible!
Thanks for the kind comment!!! This video was fun to make!
Bro... was just talking to my partner... and they have never heard about the Kluf gang. What the fuck? Where do they get their Weather, History, and Science information? This, I would like to know. #KlufstersRiseUp
Asking the real questions!!!
Loved this video! Especially the physical notes and drawings. I'd go to say the 3rd option is essentially the only driving force in a noticeable shift of data. Dixie is full of forests and low income pocket communities. Dixie Alley also has multiple radar holes even leading up to the 90s. We are totally observing a shift due to our understanding, tracking, and surveying improvements in those areas, since beforehand most EF0-EF1 tornadoes just weren't too important to keep record of if they didn't cause much damage, especially when people don't even know they happened lol! In most dixie outbreaks, the dryline isn't really an initiating boundary, and the events are typically drawn by other forms of lift like fronts and bands of confluence, so I don't think that plays as big a role as some studies suggest. Also a reminder that the two biggest Super Outbreaks ever (1974, 2011) happened in Dixie, which is going to skew the data like crazy, especially 2011 since the super outbreak was essentially ONLY in Dixie. Once again great video!
Woah - tornadotrx in my comments?!? Don't even get me started on the radar gaps in that area of the country!
Hi Alex,I love your videos because im an avid weather watcher.Thank you for the content.
So glad you enjoyed the video!
brb going to build an app now :)
Hi Alex Khulas: Can you make videos on AI PM role please.
I absolutely loved the cloud seeding demo in your kitchen, super informative! You put so much effort into this video and it really shows!
Thank you!! Hoping to incorporate more experiments!
I hope everybody else gets this video in their recommended. You are great, being so interested in the topic and easy to understand. Keep it up!
Thank you for your kind words!! I love making videos like these!
Modifying weather is a conspiracy theory according to anyone that believes the "news".
CHEMTRAILS!!!!
Meanwhile, the Arab countries each have a week
you should look into the USSR using cloud seeding and whatever the opposite is during Chernobyl
Great video!
Thank you!
How does this not have more views? Nice video 👌
Thanks so much!!! Glad you enjoyed!
Next episode MUST be on the hurricane machines. Is it really a coincidence that only republican areas get major hurricanes? And directly over a lithium deposit? Its obvious that the government used these "natural" hurricanes as an excuse to steal all of North Carolines lithum. THE PEOPLE MUST KNOW
Insanely helpful! Thanks
Such a detailed video! Thank you so much for this
Nice Try Government
Cloud seeding is the only way we control weather, stop spreading lies and propaganda.
I don’t see any lies or propaganda, yes the hook she used “we can control the weather” can be misleading but the rest of video is nothing but true fact.
Another absolute banger!
Thank you!!! appreciate the comment!
You're becoming such a good storyteller!
thanks!! Appreciate it!
Absolutely loved the visuals and structure of the video, especially the intro!
Thank you!!!
Loved this video. It helps with understanding the scope of a project which makes it less scary!
not a PM but a tech writer - I still found this very informative. having a physical representation of your skills and knowledge, as well as being able to talk about it, is sooo important!
Great video
You don't know how many videos I came across before finding your video! Yours is the most in-depth and specific with actionable content I can use to tailor my resume! Thank you so much!
Thanks for making this video! I am looking into taking coursera’s ibm product manager course. There is a an ai version and a regular version. Would you recommend one over the other?
Hello Erin, were you able to take any? I recently discovered both and am wondering which to go for.
Insightful !💌
Just subscribed! I’m making it my goal to become a Product Manager in tech by October. I would love to connect with you for a quick coffee chat because my direct goal is to become a PM at IBM! I’m so interested in their Watsonx platform and I want to ultimately become an AI PM. With such a busy schedule 😊, would you be open to chatting with me so I can ask you a few questions please?
Is not only product managers, SDE and tech in general are having troubles finding jobs, I think is related to the changes to the tax code, section 174, where now Engineering is no longer considered as research, increasing taxes for every company that employs engineers, too many tech employees looking for jobs, and a lot of them really good, competing for the same positions. I think Aron Jack made a video about this called "The REAL Reason Tech Hiring Has Slowed Down (Surprising)".
This was the most simple yet the best explained video on how to get a foot in the door for product management l. You explained each step of the process with your side project as an example while highlighting the skills that one would gather while doing that step. Appreciate your effort.
