You are completely wrong and here is why, the Hulk is a Marvel character not DC so being filled with dark brooding and self centered behavior would never fit into a very well crafted universe with other characters so, the 2nd worst hulk is the first one, also who does not want to smack Ed Norton?

"Professor Hulk" is the very definition of the word oxymoron and, to add insult to injury, they were forced to display their mistake. The Hulk was (literally) fueled by rage, anger (again, literally) made him stronger, combining the two replaced rage with reason and caused his power to INSTANTLY plateau, making him a well-built green vagina. On a personal level, I despise Ruffalo to the degree that I'm comfortable saying "F*ck any and all things Hulk"...I live for the failure and belittlement of the character as long as his b**ch *ss is playing it.

Does it matter? Marvel is finished and has been for a very long time. They lost sight of what matters...a good, consistent narrative that was building towards a set long term goal. Because the story is not even their 2nd priority, they've sunk themselves. It's the same issue with all media, organic natural casting is gone and spending 70% of your energy on WHO you cast within a specific set of boundaries (not white or male) just results in trash. It's obvious revenge is the goal of half the people and virtue signaling for an attempt at clout/money is the other half's goal, so no one will win if those are the way you look at things. The correct thing would've been to continue naturally and organically moving in the direction of proportionate representation, and definitely not putting down those that spoke up against the unnatural push they were doing.

I liked the incredible hulk too. Almost all iterations to me seem forget both of the Hulks powers. !. He is one of the smartest people in the world and 2. the more angry the hulk gets, the stronger and more uncontrollable he gets. The interaction with the Hulk and Thanos would have never happened like that..

The irony is that She-Hulk does that rant, then gets angry. There's a sarcastic joke there, but I think that was lost on everyone because what she says is ABSURD.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the worst thing about She-Hulk. In the comics she got her powers because she lost blood in a car accident and Bruce saved her life with a blood transfusion. In the stupid Disney TV show she got her powers because she and the Hulk were in a car accident AND SHE AS A HUMAN SAVES HULKS LIFE AND GETS HER POWERS BY HIM ACCIDENTALLY BLEEDING ON HER! Sorry for the all caps but that is SO STUPID! How is a woman with no powers not knocked out by an accident that knocks out the Hulk?

I just think it's bad that this is definitely not just a thought one person has and that there are many conversations and videos aswell as forums and discussions on this so much that the creators of the films can't be unaware yet they continue to make the same mistakes

We tried going super dark in the 90s and 2000s...better to have a balance of hope and dark that's why thr avengers movies succeeded where the DC universe failed.

I'll NEVER forgive Waititi for what he did to the HULK. It makes sense why how Norton fell out with Marvel. I had to get used to Ruffalo's Hulk and I found myself waiting for The Arc in his character because Savage Hulk is supposed to return. Instead, they turned him into a joke in SheHULk,which RUINED Planet and World War Hulk.

Russo bros have no idea how to write the Hulk. Russos also did Captain America: Civil War and Winter Soldier and Hulk was not present for any of them, mostly Civil War. They have no idea how to write strong characters who can just solve the problem.

Avengers 1 and 2 Hulk was the reason the avengers even won. He aced both Loki and Ultron, when even Thor was having issues. He was the ace in the hole. Now, he's just a joke. I hate the Russo bros for that.

Hulk was never dumb, his intelligence was always more brutally focused, he was singularly minded and leveraged his strengths... literally to get to his ends. What made Hulk menacing was always that even if the ends aligned with good his means treated everything as expendable, he defined unstoppable force. Banner could only hope that his morality could in some small way influence the Hulk when he went under so that despite everything at least the ends were moral though they may not even come close to justifying the means. What made Hulk a hero was Banner. When the comics made Hulk lesser what they did was remove the hero's journey from Banner, that's fine but then what is it being replaced with? The MCU did the same thing to date Hulk's story is finished, Iron Man is well.. dead... Captain America retired... Thor doesn't even make sense anymore, it's crazy.

Hulk is a hero in the comics. As far as I know from reading Hulk in comics for years, Hulk would never hurt children or innocent people. Hulk also cares about a few friends dearly. Betty Ross, Rick Jones. No matter how angry Hulk is, I don't believe Hulk would hurt children or innocent people in comics.

I would have liked to see the following in infinity war: Hulk was actually beating Thanos. Then Thanos (With one of the stones or maybe by one of the magic minions) somehow cage Hulk in Banner's mind. Easily brushing of Bruce. Later on, when Hulk doesn't come out, we see him raging inside the mind cage. Maybe seeing a crack that heals. Then, when the "hulk suit" gets destroyed, we see one last cage scene where Hulk really gets angry. Resulting in Hulk busting out the suit and go ham! (I really didn't like the professor Hulk either. Would have stayed away from that.)

As a kid I collected the Hulk comics, so I totally agree with your take. The Hulk's rage could know no limit... therefore his strength was also limitless. The MCU just has him as a large green guy.

I couldnt agree more, Tony should have been terrified when he realises he has to face the Hulk by himself, then maybe he cracks a joke before launching a 'hulkbuster jericho missile' at the hulk which causes him to come to his senses and revert to banner. Hulk should never be knocked out!

2003 hulk is the best hulk ever. If you put the visuals of the 2008 hulk it would be a masterpiece.
