    "Stumbling upon a third party in my relationship was a devastating blow, made worse by my ex-boyfriend's gaslighting and denial. Taking time to heal, I sought assistance from a spiritual advisor, and with their guidance, we've managed to reconcile, and he's shown sincere efforts to change."

      I think having a good friendship in the office is acceptable, though while I am your patient let's keep it contained to the office and maybe once we are done we can move our friendship outside the office if we both deem it appropriate.

      Completing my job and allowing others the opportunity to do theirs is slacking? Didn't God give everyone gifts? Denying others the opportunity to walk in their gifts (doing their job) is a character issue.

However, God himself said he came in the form of fallible flesh not to be served but to serve others. This falls along the same lines as being a cheerful giver. When you do your job you are doing it unto the Lord.
