I"m a road cyclist who has recently bought an MTB to change it up a bit so, I'm new to this. I've got a Giant Talon with the same set up and I've had conflicting information as to where that switch/clutch should be. I looked on TH-cam and some "experts" have said it should be on (up) and only off (down) when taking off the wheel or working on it. Others have said on for the road and off for the trails. Even the mechanic at the shop where I bought it from said off for road and on for trails. I'm confused now!

Same thing happened to me. Just got a gem 2 Marlin 7 and took it to the ocean for the weekend. It kept skipping in the second gear to lowest. I thought it needed adjustment but it was the clutch on the derailleur

I have the same device and when I try to play TH-cam or Netflix it says connect to internet, but when I go into settings I just can’t get the wifi from the device to link up with the wifi on my phone. The same wifi is showing on both but they won’t connect. Can anyone help? I only bought this for those two functions, my car already has CarPlay. 2024 Hyundai Tucson, if that helps.

I think I just figured it out. My seat configuration is different. It's a 60/40. Yours is different. If you have a 60/40 this is NOT how it works. You have to unbolt the seat, lift up and pull out. It doesn't unlatch at all like this

What yr and team level us this? I have a 22 and as far as I know the 5th gens rear seat doesn't do this

I tried this on my Ram 1500 and a note came up on my Uconnect that said downloading popup_manager.rar and I pulled it out and restarted. I don’t trust a file downloading to my cars computer with a name like that.

Absolutely no need to connect this device via Bluetooth that’s why you are having these slow problems. Simply go into settings on the car screen, select WiFi, open WiFi hotspot on phone settings and connect that way. Works perfect and none of the issues you are experiencing by connecting the wrong way

The crucial parts are the clamps, how easy to use, not explained well. Should use the stand for a few weeks prior to doing the video.

To everyone who has a similar issue there is a little button that you can see through the vent. Give it 2 quick presses and a third long press. Hold down until your blue light starts again. This worked for me. Hopefully it will work for you. I think you could also hold that button to reset it.

Great methodical assembly man, appreciated. I had mine together, but was mystified by the mechanism that allows the 360 degree rotation of the clamp until I saw that you have to move the lever up to disengage it. Regarding your question about whether you use the seat post or top tube for clamping, I heard someone say for stell frames, the top tube is good, but not carbon, so use the seat post in those cases. I did a lot of research-standard for me-before buying this, but I doubt you can get a much better stand for the money, I'm really impressed by how rigid the tubes are. I I lucked out with a $25 discount that day too, so $89 Canadian.
