When we talk about Enoch's ten week prophecy we will talk more about the calendar. Not enough info to know exactly about it. What you said about 365 years makes sense to me. The way I think of it is that the calendar is lacking as a testimony that Jesus Christ has to be added to us like days have to be added to the Calendar to keep it in line with the sun, and Christ has to make us in line with God? I only really use the Enoch Calendar when talking about the ten weeks prophecy because it fits in line with the restoration of the gospel.

The Torah says Enoch ascended at the age of 365. If someone read that, why would they then write a book about Enoch having a vision of a 364 day calendar? Enoch's book truly might be ancient. I think it is written in a ancient tone.

@@restoredephraimpublication1540 Concerning the calendar(s), the calendar of Israel changes A LOT in the Bible. There's maybe 5 different calendars that the people of God use in the Bible. Noah's calendar was in fact a 360 day calendar, which implies a harmony of lunar and solar calendars (lunar = 354, solar = 365). When we calculate the calendar days of the flood in Noah's story, it would necessitate 30 day months all year round.

I agree that the Book of Enoch is of ancient date, if you listen to my earlier Enoch chapter commentaries there is evidence that the prophet Lehi's dream of the tree of life was inspired by reading the Book of Enoch in the Brass Plates, find commentary videos for Book of Enoch 22-25.

Since we can't see word in its original language since it is only through the revelations given to Joseph Smith and it is hard to determine. But, in my opinion, it is related to the Hebrew word ka-Lahv, which in Hebrew could be read as "as the heard" and that it is referring to the star being at the heart or center of things.

I stopped wearing American clothing and now I wear clothing based on the biblical culture. I wear a white tunic and a talit katan over the tunic and then I wear a robe over that and over that I wear an lambskin apron and a sash, the robe is what people see in my videos. From what I have studied clothing was loose and long. Paul says that women should wear a head covering when they pray or prophesy. To me this says that women should wear head scarves when doing religious worship. I do not think head scarves should be forced but I think that women should keep them handy in case of situations where they might want to cover themselves in public. I hope this helps.

In most Catholic/orthodox churches this is the norm. Thanks for the input. I like your style. I think simple clothes look quite good. I think referring to an American style though might be somewhat arbitrary. Original American styles I believe are mostly derived from traditional European styles. Today though, clothing seems more simpler and informal.

Thanks! When it says that men should not pray with covered heads, it is referring to the Jewish custom of covering their whole heads like women using their tallit gadol. So it is not a reference to hats actually and I have no problem with men praying with a hat on. When I say American clothing I simply refer to clothing worn by Americans. I make my own clothing so I call it Ephraimite clothing, or Biblical clothing.

I was worried about the hat thing because I nearly got beat up in another non lds church because I accidentally left my hat on during a meeting. Since then I was more concerned about the hat thing. Hats are interesting though and I think important. Even in ancient Mesopotamian culture we see people wearing hats. I think it’s an important tool because it protects us from the sun.
