Science for the win! The beauty of science is often underrepresented and many people believe that they don't enjoy it. The truth is our world is far more interesting than most people realize. I create videos that show these topics to better understand why things are the way it is.

999999 missed calls from khaby lame💀💀
That’s is so far from the “BEST” way lol 😅
Hmmm nice fact
Interesting
Thank you! Very cool
Hi crazy Asian can you make a update on the coconut palms? Thanks!
Unfortunately, this one perished last year from the constant cool weather of California.
If you want I have some radioactive hands and some Americium pellets

You didnt have to go word for word wirh chemteacher phil, and who knows who he got those exact words from, king of random probably.
my right ear really enjoyed this
off brand nilered
Word for word
+30 rads
I could go to sleep to that noise
This is actually not a geiger counter, it's some type of spectrometer. They do not have a geiger millitube like ordinary geiger counter does, these contain some type of crystal ( idk what type of crystal to be exact ) But these are used to identify what element you're dealing with.
I remember when i was around 10, my uncle had a dosimeter he gave it to me as a gift, curious my dad used it and started beeping slowly. that's when we found out that it's because of the radium, he stopped wearing it. I still have the watch, but i lost the dosimeter
That’s a neat little Geiger counter you’ve got there. What’s the make and model? I’ve been wanting to buy one for home use, but haven’t found anything quite as small and portable as that with a click.
It’s a Radiacode 102, but the latest Radiacode 103G has an even more sensitive detector and can pinpoint the different radioisotopes more clearly than the older generations because of a new type of scintillation crystal.
Super radioactive - grabs with bare hand
Gloves would be useless unless used to prevent contamination on your hands. Considering they're wrapped up and in a box that's already not much of a concern. Gloves wouldn't do much more than the box and wrap are already doing to stop the least penetrative radiation. The dose is also low enough that short periods of exposure aren't a major concern. Prolonged exposure or ingestion of the radium paint is the biggest danger here.
"Before they cared about our safety" is so true
bro is NOT Nile Red
They need this in New Jersey right now.
Who are THEY?
@@melissachartres3219 The citizens.
@@opinionatorX Thanks for the reply.
@melissachartres3219 Welcome 🙂
My father has a Geiger counter. One day he was playing with it and it was going off the chart. Spooked, he called the police and said what was happening and was worried that something bad had happened, thinking maybe someone dropped radioactive dust or whatever into the sky. Then he remembered that he just had an x-ray not an hour ago. Embarrassed out of his mind, he apologized and hung up. XD Creepy to think that he was still so radioactive.
Wow, but it seems odd that the radiation would be emitted from his body after an X-Ray. I’ve seen videos where people are very radioactive after a chemo treatment.
Every time you say that this happens 🎶radioactive radioactive🎶
Thanks for the posst!
Please atleast you chatgpt to create your own script. You just stole someone else's script word by word. I havent seen this much laziness ever.
where did you get the mantles from??
I got them a few years back from eBay.
Ripping videos word for word, frame for frame 😂
But it was only for a split second
I tried that aswell
You poser.. this dude stole wording from another clip
YEAH, SCIENCE 🧬 🧪 🧫 🌍 🪐

Can someone tell me why this doesn’t need charcoal like other homemade gunpowder?
The potassium nitrate acts as an oxidizer while the sugar is the fuel. Just like the charcoal is the fuel in black powder.
@ thanks for the answer! I’m starting to understand. So there is something missing from the classic 3 ingredient black powder recipe. I guess it’s the sulfur in this case then? I’m reading that sulfur acts as a stabilizer, why isnt it necessary here and is it truly necessary for black powder?
@ Sulfur is like a catalyst in this scenario, in the way that it speeds up the reaction. Without the sulfur in black powder, it would burn rather slowly and not be effective. But in rocket fuel a mixture which burns too quickly might cause the engine to explode which wouldn’t be ideal.
@ that makes perfect sense. Thank you!
Bro really copied chemteacherphil whole script😂😂😂😂
This guy actually just stole the script from the action labs video from 2018. You need to make your own content and not take others work
w
You forgot the review… those gears are just for show.
Where the hell do I even get potassium nitrate ?
As stump remover which is 100% purity
Like everything else, Amazon 😂
✌️😎👍
Is it something similar to the Piranha solution?
Yes but instead of using an acid like sulfuric acid, it uses NaOH which is a base. Although piranha solution is much more vigorous so it would completely dissolve the meat and wouldn’t leave any chunks remaining.
@CrazyAsian1 😮😮
Cool we just watch you make Sugar Honey Ice Tea 💩😂
I thought you made gunpowder 😂
Im gonna call you Crasian :)
very good video ; just too bad that the sound is awfull ^^
Thinks its OK to call people retards shame on you 😡😡😡
My favorite radioactive item to collect are thorium gas mantles.
I bought a dp-66 geiger counter from 1974,,fully working, and i found 9 gas mantles in my collection of mantles, that are radioactive, perfect test source for my geiger counter. Now i have put those 9 mantles in metal boxes for shielding the radiation, and put them in the basement, away from my bedroom, where they have been before, now my bedroom is safe.
It's giving chemteacherphil
what is a normal backround reading on CPS?
So how soon until we “discover” that radiation map with spectroscopy data “leaks” to russia (device manufacturer)?
