Thank you for this. I had that moment in the summer before freshmen year. Throughout middleschool I was bullied a lot because I'm a bigger girl, and I was homeschooled before going to middleschool so I was socially awkward and a bit of a nerd. Over the summer i had a lot of alone time, which allowed me to reflect and really find myself and realize that who I am mentally and emotionally matters much more than how I look. It improved my self worth, helped me make more friends and be more confident, and helped me spread this idealogy to my friends who needed it. I'm so happy someone else shares this experience, and thanks for putting this out there, Aphrodite.❤

I know the ability to flip it like a switch like I did isnt something a lot of people can do, but I encourage everyone to take the opportunity if it ever presents itself
