Just a short movie that I put together while trying to figure out the best mounting location for my new AEE action camera.
Ill have a weeks holiday to do it
BMW is worse
please tell me the name of this wonderful table?💫
Hey, May I use your video in my new episode? any updates? thank you!
I may not be a certified automotive technician, but I don't believe it is supposed to do that...
I dont know about the rest of what @I_Am_Your_Problem commented... But i have to agree that the truck in the rearview was not the same truck that was hauling surprise inferno.
I’ve put a bunch of spare cash aside for this…my 2018 is going in next spring for the air filter, new coolant, Hondaline driving lights and Homelink….I did the air filter on my previous 2006 and it took me 4 hours….don’t have the patience to do it on this one….ride safe….
Of course... nobody stops. In addition. Not the same truck. Your lack of understanding does not change the complexities of the world around you.
oh yeah becuase they are probibly carrying a whole fire department on the back of their bikes. even if they hade fully loaded their bikes with fire extinguisher that woulden´t even make a dent on the fire.
@@tobiasjohansson8409 i would have just stopped anyway. not like it happened ten minutes ago and first responders have arrived... youre THERE. as it happens... and its not something youre likely to see again, a truck just randomly bursting into flames... who knows, might just save a life. then again, here its illegal to not stop...

Yes, always be sure to drive under the bridge with the flaming vehicle above you.
Explain what could gave gone wrong
cool👍
Nice shots
Amazing how quickly the truck becomes engulfed! Thanks for sharing.
You bet!
Another's bridge that's going to be closed off for fire damage.
Probably not. If it burned underneath, yeah. On top, less likely.
Seriously.
The snake?
Sometimes, often, it seems like manufacturers make things so difficult on purpose, to force you to take the bike to the dealership and prevent you from doing it yourself... A bike brand with bad policies regarding DIY maintenance is off my list of options.
Those of you saying they just take it to the dealership, good luck trusting that idea. I imagine they say the same thing about taking it apart. Nope, charge him $250 for a $25 air filter and we will act like we did it. Sorry doing it myself so I know it was done. Did it on my 2002 and will do it on my 2019 DCT.
I do not remember what my shop estimated the cost to change the air filter on my 2015 F6B, but it was enough that I sold it. This is ridiculous surgery to replace an air filter, along with the cost. I assumed the egg heads at Honda would have designed a way to pull the old cartridge out and install a new one with some type of access panel...aren't the Japanese known for their ingenuity. I will never buy a Honda GL until they get this sorted out, Hate to say it, but my Harley is such a better bike when it comes to access to anything on the bike.
I would figure out a way to make a new air box and put the filter as close to the front forks as I can. This is ridiculous
What gauge steel is that ?
Glad to see the robo vac ready to pounce on the first screw you drop 😂
I trade every two years so I don't have to do that.
Wow, this was not helpful at all. Thanks.
Avec une meule j’aurais fini déjà
Nul mdr
Isn't the whole part of doing this video starting it from start to scratch not in the middle of it
IIIII WIIIILL NOOOOOT Be buying an 18+ now after watching this and I was all ready to!!!!..What Nazi invented this!!!!
Being a DIY guy myself, I will get to do this very soon. I figure the dealer doesn't have any better way, or maybe not even more experience, so why pay to have it done. Just take your time and be careful as you did. You started out with just the glovebox to remove, so most of the work was done to that point, but good vid. I think while it's apart, looks like a good opportunity, so why not route some needed wires up for accessories. Thanks for the information.
I did my 2006 Honda Goldwing myself as well. A lot of hardware and body parts. I opted to install the K&N Air Filter due to the design to cut down on the 15,000 mile intervals.
Dealer will set you back 2 to 3 hours labour for this job, it’s absurd. Was hoping Honda would make it easier than the previous generation, but they made it harder instead.
Reason I would never buy one. Need 5 min for this job on my Guzzi or my Harley…
We don't take off a lot of that bracketry. 1:54 Once the front snorkel is removed the air box lid and filter can slide out the left side from under the airbag/storage box. One tip I can give you if you do it this way, place a small dab of painters tape on each lid screw to hold them up out of the way as you slide the lid back in place. This will help protect the new filter from being snagged by one of the screws hanging down. When removing the lid we don't care if the screws drag on the old filter, right?
Pro Tip!
Lol this video was 0 help
It would be nice to show everyone HOW to remove the glove box
Can't imagine this being needed before 30K miles. Traxxion has a video with one that has over 60K. Wouldn't go that far ..😁
I was hoping they made this easier on new gen. All of honda's innovation & they leave this a disaster.
I think ill just keep trading mine in at 15,000. 😅
The air filter setup is about the only thing I don't like about my 18 DCT. So far I've done all the service myself, but when the dealer told me 2.5 hours for the labor, I decided it's worth letting them do it. Hopefully they don't miss anything when putting it back together.
Very nice vid! Hopefully you saved some dough. Wonder what the dealer charges for air filter replacement? You know those mechanics at Honda has all the manuals that show play by play. Your doing it off of a few vids and common sense, great job! I watch this video for a reason because I don't own a Goldwing I have a BMW K 1600 and thinking about switching over, and I was just curious about the procedure for the air filter, I just did it on my BMW and it was almost as bad as this.
The air filter in the Goldwing airbag model is even funner!
Well done. Thanks for posting the video. It's really helpful.
Lord have mercy. Guess I will keep my 1982 GL1100 Interstate - an air filter change takes 5 minutes and doesn't involve any tools.
Great video. I wish it would have had the tear down and all the rebuild included. I think it is ridiculous people charge for help videos these days. Thank you for showing this much
Nice job Spencer.
Whollyophuck! I do not look forward to this. I hate R&Replacing that plastic stuff & getting all to re fit correctly and dont completely trust any dealer around here to do much of the regular maintenance. I always dreaded checking / adjusting valves on my VTX 1800 and that was by far a simpler process than this nightmare. I thought the stock suspension was the biggest joke on GW's but this.....
but you didnt show the insides :(
freakin love it!!!!!
That is truly absurd that a major Car, boat motor, M/C etc etc etc this was the best they had to offer. I personally would have gone with an Indian had I known this BS
Great Video, tks
Bikes have gotten way too complex. Do we actually need all this crap on a Bike ? Doesn’t it make it more car-like ? I have a Harley 02 Softail. The Air filter is a 10 minute Job. Just a slight rant but I do love my 2021 Goldwing.
Great job!
Sure is a lot of Tupperware. Lol
