Dentist Hand Skills: Dental Implant Healing Abutment VS Cover Screw - Common Mistakes & Techniques
Why does it look like they're doing it so dang hard and rough?? Aren't they supposed to take their time bc it's delicate? I don't want that dentist
well it's a tooth extraction lol, what do u expect??
@babakb5186 i meant moving his mouth so harshly
@KaDoom00 i think the surgeon did a great job. Faster extractions means less post operative pain, better healing and so on.
Sir you placed anterior implants palatal too much what was the reason? Also if you could share pre and post cbct xray so we could learn more about case
Fantastic work sir.. Keep on uploading such a skillful and beautiful video to the Dental community..
Hi Doc, So you do not use CHX rinse after any implant surgeries? Do you recommend that patients use the Closys rinse at home?
What's the ncm and rpm protocol?
Unit 731
Are you kidding me ??? My car mechanic is more gentle than this. I was getting chills and anxiety watching this video.. the dentist looks like he is spear fishing .
Hellllpppp😢
Very good content and interesting...thanks for helping out...ive got to do maxillary implant .exactly after 1 hour from now.and i m watching this just to refine my techiques..boosting myself.
Guau 😮
So informative
Great videos!
Awesome Thank you so much!
2000 speed!! What about heat generation to the bone ?
Seriously!!!that patient was under general anaesthesia!!!And those teeth were not surgically removed but simple extractions that could be done under normal local anaesthetic on the chair ! You made it look like you a hero wildly giving injections while the patient was sleep. You could not give those LA while he was awake otherwise the patient would have jumped off the chair or he was high on drugs .The patient would have got physical with me if I gave him an injection that wildly . Because he was under GA you would not have known whether he was truly numb !!! It’s a joke video Jay
What do you think of augma?
How do you feel about leaving a collagen membrane exposed compared to a PTFE?
What is torque
amazing
Thank you very much, I am learning a lot with these podcasts, I recently had a problem with an implant and in this video I was able to understand what happened, I love it
Excelent! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
😊
Thank you doctors. The presentation is great. I learnt a lot ❤❤❤
Why dont you wear sterile gloves?
That was fast!
Great info! Gonna start using the 50/50 technique! Do you use irrigation when using this protocol?
Bravoooooo
Thanks for being on, it was a great episode!!! 🚀🚀🚀
Great video Doc. You seem to recommend 50/50 for the lance drill but I notice that you used 2000 rpm?. Was it an oversight? Thanks again.
Great video Doc. What would be the drawback of Aa healing abutment which is a millimetre or two longer than needed? If none, why not always use the tallest one without interfering with the occlusion? Thanks again.
how do yoy know your rachet is corect calibrated i mean how do you know after 10 years of use when it shows 32 nm its corect?
Love it. Great podcast.
Dentists play with these like toys while the average person digs to afford them
As a dentist I can relate to what you say because ai hear it from many patients. Implant dentistry training is expensive and so is the equipment needed and the maintenance on it. The good news is that when done well and with proper care, these restorations can last for decades and help you eat and smile! It’s an investment that we all make together!
@throwdown47 Dentists should be on manufacturers to find ways on making it affordable for everyone
What settings are using to reverse the implant out?
On your refinement or up righting of the Osteotomy your were referring to this wall and that wall it would be helpful for a directional wall because the video did not show the wall because the light overpowered your directional pointing. Great Video and love the new and old references ie Mische et al. very helpful to stay up to date. Thanks Doc!
Next time please turn off the light of your loupes so we as audience can see better . thanks for a great video!!
Thank you Doctor 👌
Fantastic work... Please could you make videos on type of bone.? How can we determine whether it is D1 D2 D3 D4. Any clinical tips or cbct tips?
Great idea! We will cover that.
Thank you for a very informative video.
Fun to watch the thought process behind this. Thanks!
great job thanks for the valuable pre and post discussion really priceless ,, one thing though in the 23:50 min during the post op review the pan shows a horizontal placed implant in the sinus R side !! between the pterygoid one and the canine region one but not seen in the 3d view , wonder what this was ? other than that great work and thanks again .
shadow image from the other ptyerygoid in the xray-- there is no implant there.... thank you for the question
perfect❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🌹 "Promo SM"
Such great insight in these podcasts
when osteotomy is not sufficient and we tried implant placement but its not getting in, so we remove implant and keep implant in saline and again use it? does such implant osseointegrate well..please answer
If it’s in the same surgery it will work but if it outside of the vial for so long it maybe contaminated by air and the surface treatment may be lost.

Please follow IFU’s for each individual implant company. They are quite specific
