Julien you are an amazing youth a true embarrador of Jesus first and then your country. You possess a character that the world lacks but really needs. Thank you for inspiring our people and the wider globe. My encouragement to you is to continue to give God first place in your life even if it becomes challenging. After all what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his soul. Stand up for God and He will see you through. God's choicest blessings be upon you. I am truly proud to be a St Lucian. Thank you again and my love and prayerful support always.

Great interview
Excellent interview. Julien, you are a gem!
That disappointment is no different from Julien's false start, where she might have triumphed over them. Some athletes understand when to shift gears beyond the norm... 10.72 stands as a prime example.
When Grace of god is upon your life you're become unstoppable.
Wow! Really great interview! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Alister and Queen Julien!!! Another reason why I am a proud Saint Lucian 🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨

Nobody wants to watch the Celtics crush some scrub Euro team by 50.
P r o m o S M
COUNTRY IS FAR BIGGER THAN CLUB. And there is no bigger honour in this world other than representing your country. refused to represent your country? That's just as unpatriotic as it can get.
What about baseball World Series
Just imagine if a soccer nation like Germany, France, Italy, Spain etc. Would have their national league win a national championship but call themselves world champion. How would other countries react? Not ok, right? The title world champion can only be given to the winner of an international competition.
If the NBA champion is the world champion, then what is Germany, after winning the FIBA championships ??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
NBA is simply a National Basketball Association of America. They are not World Champions. NBA players need help with education. Simple.
What is the definition of "world" in the US? I was studying in the US and watching "World News". There were no other news presented as from the US. Not even Europe was considered for some World News. Besides a competition for national teams (FIBA World Cup) there should be established a champions league from around world for the best club teams. Only then the champion of the NBA could also become a champion of the best club teams in the world and call itself "World Champion".
I don't want to brag, but last year our amateur footsal team was the world champion of our regional 2nd division.
Germany World champs ! NBA superstars trying to go to the olympics didn’t even play one qualifying game at the fiba world cup as they just want to take the glory of the gold medal but didn’t want to get their hands dirty pmaying at the Fiba World Basketball Championships.😂😂😂😂
How stupid are people? We do understand that club ball is different than country ball right? Is there another club that can beat the nuggets?
Its as simple as this: America is not the entire world. And world champion is not equal in meaning to best in the world wich nobody is disputing anyways. Everyone defending these NBA players seems to be taking it as Noah saying they arent the best in the world. He just said its silly to call yourself world champion. And the rest of the world agrees!
Noah Lyles's has a point.
The thing you have to understand America like make thing that they're better than everyone in sports Ave so many things.
There is a lot of truth to it, because USA team has lost games against others countries and let's take it consideration that basketball is evolving outside America and the proof of it is the numbers of foreign players, playing corrently in the NBA.
Historic reasons??? FIBA - founded 1932 NBA - founded 1946 Any questions?
*Current* FIBA World Cup and it’s format is very recent and has only recently (maybe to “western world” viewers) become a thing. Yes the NBA is *old* and FIBA itself being older…but the point being made here is that football’s World Cup is at the highest level of prestige, FIBA’s version only fairly recently has come into people’s consciousness…leaving many people to have a fair argument that the NBA’s title is the most significant globally, for years. Now that the world is getting smaller basketball-wise with world talent getting better (as shown in this year’s World Cup) those international tournaments will be seen as a better judge of who is the best.
@@Baseline2BaselineUK I'm living outside the NBA bubble, so for me, there was always this duality of NBA (since early 80s) and FIBA (national team). Remember, back then it wasn't even possible for NBA pros to participate! The only world champion was played out at FIBA WC... But if I wanted to see Magic or Larry, I had to look at the NBA!
@@rainerzufall42 totally understand! And that’s where I think Noah’s comment was so much more profound than what he even expected. He was stating truth very simply…but your example shows how much the NBA isn’t really at the centre for everyone. It is undoubtedly the best league in the world with its collection of talent but these international competitions are the real deal with an even stage and footing for everyone to battle it out. What the Americans need to do is send their best to participate every time and then the debate can be had legitimately.
so Noah Lyles exposed a lot ignorant and arrogant people😅
Why we argue about this? It's very simple if a one country fight the other countries in the world and manage to defeat all them, you will be called "World Champion", NBA is National basketball sport league so it really means it was inside the US only.. Even there's some player came from other country you cannot say it was a world championship, because that foreigner is playing on that league becuz of paycheck, I hope don't be blinded by arrogantness, the world is not revolving just for them
Billions being paid with these egotistical, narcissistic Nba players like they are the only deserving talented athletes there is a sense of arrogance! 😂 FIBA Exposed them players! Noah is million % right!
Look it's simple, for years the NBA was the league most respected and admired THROUGHOUT the world. Im 65yrs old and I have watch the transitions from before magic and bird. As the league push further into world markets the world got better and our ability to see the world stage has also gotten smaller with social platforms. Bottom line the game has changed and so have the world markets
Manchester City is world champion of Football not Argentina. Factually Man City destroy Argentina in a game. That is where americans logic could led us
Have it in baseball aswell , World Series lol america is a country full of weirdo clowns
You have to be a jingoist numbnut to not immediately concede the point that a national championship is not a world championship.
I laughed my ass off! I like the NBA - watched it for many years -, but switched recently to the Euroleague Basketball, bc sportswise it's way more attractive. And, yes, Noah Lyles was right on every point 🤟
that you have to invinte an expert when someone says usa is not the world like this is something we first have to discuss if right or wrong is saying something
