What’s the Hype with this $1,500 Carry-On Luggage? (Rimowa Cabin)
really good video simple and overly informative.. subbed
How are you keeping it cool? A lot of forms have mentioned how hot it gets at idle.
@@rouzermalachii yes it did get hit i eventually installed and aftermarket heating with a fan
I knew it was fast, I want to about heat, you didn't even mention how hot it go without a HSF or if you did install an aftermarket HSF.
@@grazzitdvram I installed an aftermarket cooler with a fan
can support asus rog strix b650e-i itx? without heatsink or what is your recomend for this gaming mb?
I'm waiting, the 4090 is way too expensive now, I will either buy the 5090 at msrp or a used 4090 for $1000 or less. I predict the prices of used 4090s to plummet as sellers will be desperate to make money to put towards the 5090.
Planning on buying the the OG cabin+ in classic silver when I fly to Japan. You can save few hundred if you know where to look.
So the advertised speeds from the vendors are nowhere near what the actual speeds are. Isn't that false advertisement? Aside from that, very informative video. I've been wanting to upgrade to a GEN5 nvme, but have heard so much about how hot they get, specially is being used for long gaming sessions.
@@rraudales from my experience every drive’s advertised speeds are inflated compared to real life testing. and yes the gen 5 does get very hot. i upgraded my ssd cooler to an active fan/heatsink combo which def helped but occasionally i still see it throttle down if im transfer large files
Nice Build! may i know if you have chance to weigh the unit?
Will this work with the new base m4 Mac mini, and a satechi enclosure? For gaming?
def a possible option
@ thanks for the reply! My question is would it be overkill? Like would I be getting the most out of the ssd with the enclosure?
as long as the enclosure supports the pci5 speeds you’ll get the most out if it, if anything it’ll run even faster compared to if it was an OS drive (since it’s running independently) being overkill or not depends on you really, pci5 is faster and will provide quicker load times and potentially a few extra frames compared to pci4. but it isn’t to say gen 4 is slow. they’re all fast. imagine a lambo vs a bugatti. sure bugatti can achieve faster speeds but it doesn’t mean a lambo is slow 😅 hope my analogy makes sense
I have the 12 so its definitely a great upgrade for me. Loving the 16P
When you said you made a PC for your friend, did you mean to say he opted for a 4080 super?
nah he went for a 4090
@@ITSRICHARDLAU I see, I was just confused because after talking about how you would rather recommend to get the 4080 super instead (because its much cheaper and the differences between those 2 cards isnt big) he still decided to go for the 4090, thats why I thought you had made a mistake when you said that sentence, cause I wasnt expecting that xD
At this price, no chance in the world. 7900xtx is half the price.
Hello. I would like to provide some criticism here. Why are you testing the loading speed with a 12 year old game. The loading speed of Black Ops 2 is a bad example and not comparable to the latest CoD title and other new games we play today. Its not even close. This game loads 100x faster than the latest CoD title and any other modern game that released recently. Also why did you not do an in depth test of the temperatures for different scenarios since this is the part that is holding pcie5 ssds back right now. This review is in my opinion a bit misleading.
how the heat temps?
i was able to monitor the temp numbers but it def ran hot and throttled in performance when transfer large files and so i had to upgrade the cooler from a passive one to an active one with a fan. th-cam.com/video/qraO9oT-tps/w-d-xo.html t in this video i showed the install and it helped a lot
What the fork (mic)😂
Will this work On my New gaming pc with asus rog crosshair x870e hero with rog strix 4090?
there arent 200 types of drives. Theres just HDD, SSD and M2 SSD. Thats literally it. So you only need a m2 socket and literally every motherboard produced after like 2016 has that.
It's barely an investment. You won't get anywhere close to what you paid for it in 10 years.
You will still get a large chunk back. The cabin classic resells used on eBay for $1100 to $1200 at auction.
@@franco9001 @franco9001 I see your point, but how many people buy these used cases at these prices? There are 1,200 Rimowa luggage cases on eBay right now, including 200 ones from the U.S. Doesn't sound very promising to me. The issue is not the price, but the way the used items look.
Like pretty much anything that is a consumable good lol. I can't think of anything else around that price mark that holds its value, if not appreciates over time.
@@richieewinns I’m not sure who you guys are trying to mislead but eBay is full of Rimowa cases that barely anyone buys. There are 1200 items as of today. Somehow I don’t see them being in high demand. Especially dented ones with rich travel history which means as few as one trip.
@@franco9001 You can ask a million bucks for your used dented scratched case which doesn’t mean people will pay you that much. I get it, we all want to justify our purchases but let’s be also fair to ourselves.
Setup looks sick 🔥🥵any upcoming giveaway sir
@@raicr7 maybe in the future
bro that setup is fire
appreciate that!
I just got my new iPad Mini 7 256GB WiFi. I don't have problems with it. I don't even care about jelly scrolling or its the same as the 6th version. What's important is an upgraded processor, 8gb ram and handy. I also have a pencil pro paired with it. I came from iPad Pro M1 11-inch. I find this more convenient than the big PRO versions.
I got my series 10, two days ago and it is amazing! I had a series 7 previously but this thing is fire. I have sleep tracking and AOD turned off, and it’s giving more than 40 hours screen on time, with 13% still remaining. Absolutely crazy
3 hours sleeping??
How is that manageable? As far as I know 5 - 6 hours are the minimum that the body needs, but 7 would be the optimal.
@@SPFboy86Napoleon and Tesla they sleep not more than 2 hours
it’s definitely not ideal, but i’m currently working 2 jobs (healthcare & running my personal media business - along with other e-commerce shops as a 1 man team)
okay imma be completely honest...... when i opened the video i didnt looked at this views or subs in my mind it was like this video atleast have like a million views....... bro u are actually underrated
I have both Series 10 Jet Black and Ultra 2 Black. Trying to figure out which one to keep. Any advice?
depends on if you prefer a sleeker profile or a heavy duty rugged one, they both offer similar features
I would advise you to think over when and where you wish to wear it. If you don't do outdoor activities or anything heavy duty, the series 10 would be sufficient.
I choosing between s9 and s10 , can u recommend me pls?
Man just go for the 10 are you serious? Don’t be cheap it’s worth it
I would suggest that if there are no money constraints, go for the S10 for better future proofing. Also the thinner design and faster charging are features that most people appreciate.
Good video Im also using the shift xt with a 7900x3d and msi 4090 slim , Phantek aio with t-30 and contact frame love the case its built like a tank and easy to build in also able to take 3 slot gpu. The cse still holds up very well next to newer sfx cases
Im so building this. Problem: no money :(
enjoy the new phone and Crave cases! Looks good!!
Should I get the 6th gen to save some money?
that’d be my suggestion since it’s practically the same, only thing the 7 would benefit from is 30% more processing power and 8gb ram for apple intelligence. if those things aren’t a must then the 6th gen can save a good chunk
Can I give constructive criticism. I don’t know if you’re using a lav mic inside your shirt to hide it? maybe it’ll be good to clip it on the ‘collar’ of your shirt so that it doesn’t scratch. It’ll still look professional. @ 5:20 the mic is like krrsgf khsshh 😅. But for everything else I’ll give you 99/100 🎉. You’re on your way to being a super tech TH-camr
Thanks for the feedback! yes i did notice the scratching noises as it’s tucked within my shirt. will def try to find a better solution for it
I just got me new iPad Mini 7. Upgraded from Mini 4. This time I got 256 GB and cellular. I use this when I travel and since many countries have less than perfect WiFi that I know a cellular connection will really be handy. I loved my Mini 4 so this one isn’t a surprise but should be worlds better with the A17 plus 8 GB of ram. My Mini 4 only had 2 GB.
there's just something about vintage rolexes that are so appealing to me. im currently wearing the submariner 14060. I think the 16233 two tone datejust will be my next purchase either end of the yr or next yr. Great timepiece Richard. Wear it in good health!
thank you! i def agree, i feel like there’s some sort of history that locked into the vintage timepieces. newer models sure they’re nice but feel a bit soulless to me
higher settings shift the load from the cpu to the gpu. the dif fans on the aio and the thermalright contact frame did practically everything for the upgrade, the platinum vs gold efficency doesnt change much tbh just a nice quality of life change. Why did you set fps max to 160 btw for your testing?
i noticed the gsync was enabled so it was locked at 160
Sucking or not depends on users’ need. For me, it fulfills all my needs at reasonable price.
I assume ur main focus is ai nd new pencil features because refurbished mini 6’s are going for 300
Definitely not a reasonable price.
@@corsinivideosshow me where you can find a comparable product with cheaper price. 🤡 🤣
Nice looking to pick this up or a 1601
that’s great! love the 1601 as well, but wasn’t a fan of the acrylic bezel
very nice
I've been thinking about upgrading to the iPhone 16 Pro. I currently have an iPhone 12 since December 2021 and I am experiencing some issues with it. However, I don’t think this will be a significant upgrade, so I’m waiting to see what new features are introduced. What’s your opinion on it?
So far I really like the 16 pro max, don't care much for it's new features as its not something I even use (ie. camera control) but the slimmer bezels and increased battery life is a plus. If my 14 pro max wasn't in such beat condition I wouldn't have made the upgrade. but the upgrade is still nice.
great video quality despite being a small channel
Much appreciated!
Upgraded to an SE 2nd gen with 64gb to a 16 with 256gb was a well overdue upgrade. The 16 looks like a new XR with an X / XS (which imo was peak iPhone looks) due to the vibrant colours & camera layout. The battery is really good can easily get a day of mid to heavy use out of it, compared to my SE which could get an hour or 2. The camera control for me is super nice being able to quickly catch moments, Apple AI will be nice but personally I don't think I'll use it & wasn't the main selling point of it for me.
congrats on the upgrade!
Congrats man, is your upgrade worth it?
i’d say so, the larger screen is so much more pleasant to use and the improved battery life has been game changer. not much has changed with the overall usage as an iphone will always be an iphone, and the camera control i still don’t use. overall don’t regret the upgrade
@ thank you, here in Indonesia , iphone 16 series still banned:( , hope it can be official soon here
Give me your 14 pro max
aha i did a trade in for it for the 16 pro max
@@ITSRICHARDLAU next time then🌚
bruv just casually flexed on his beautiful Porsche, Nice car btw
Enjoy the new Apple Intelligence features when you have the chance.
I have a 14 pro and I would like to switch to 16, in your opinion the x3 zoom and the always on display will be missing too much?
If you have a 14 pro there is absolutely no reason for you to upgrade
i’d say the camera zoom and always on aren’t all that big of a deal, more so the pro motion you’ll be missing out on if you’re opting for a base 16.
It will scratch and dent like any aluminum luggage at any price point. You are paying for the name, period.
I used 15 pro the main camara performance is gud in 16 compare to 15 pro 0nly the difference in zoom
in love w your room
Great review! I was actually planning on buying the 16 pro, but I think I’ll just wait for another year and see how the 17’s are
