It feels like you’re not okay with consumers being consumers. People don’t care about how Games Workshop or 40k operates, this isn’t the tabletop. This is a video game, and unfortunately you’re gonna be held to video game standards. To the average consumer, it had everything to do with Saber, we don’t care who they have to go through. If you can’t get some maps or gamemodes greenlit by the company, then maybe you shouldn’t make a video game. Gamers have high standards for a reason. ​@@BehindTheGrindTV Why should I have to be okay with constantly having to watch and read about how people are whining they can't get their own way? People 'not caring' has become a common trope in today's society, too eager to just eat up whatever is thrown in front of them, and still complain about it even if it's good, not all, but the majority of gamers today have COD brain, and need to touch grass, I would argue that it is very closely related to the tabletop, because nothing is going to be put in SM2 that doesn't exist in the actual game of 40k. I myself am a consumer, the same as everyone else, the difference is, and I would hope I'm not the only one who sees it this way, is that content creation, takes time to make, approval, and testing, and just because people are jumping down a companies throat, doesn't mean they need to get in gear and pump out a new update, that's how mistakes happen, that is how a game dies. I love Space Marines 2, and I'm going to be waiting *patiently* for the next content release with the people who do care.

Something being made with passion is never a pass for any type of criticism, just look a Concord. I myself am critical of Space Marine 2, not because I hate it but because I love it. Yeah but it’s also showing how dumb their forced constraints are. Theres no need to limit cosmetics to being chapter specific over 2 years. That’s ridiculous. Say you want the cosmetics for the space wolves for example, and say that their items are coming at the end of 2026, you’re long done with the game by then. They’ve cut themselves off from so much business, most players have walked away by now. If they had more items for more classes rather than drip drip a random chapter every 4 months and limit it to 2 classes they might actually sell more…. People are begging for stuff to buy and it’s not there. People are going to be long done with this game, a lot are already. They majorly shot themselves in the foot for that.

And thirdly you do realize that season 3 we will be getting two champion packs? One for the sniper salamander and the other another chapter. And fourth you’re actually incorrect. They did the same thing with world war z it came out in 2019 and they’re still putting out dlc and content. You’re just giving entitled live service vibe with Cod, Helldivers and Fortnite. If you’re complaining and impatient of about it then remove yourself from the game and go elsewhere fr.

@@BehindTheGrindTV It's especially annoying since they always talk about being lore accurate. They are also missing a lot of opportunities with chapter-specific traits. Like if Salamanders got a -5 to 10% reduction in heat or cooldown with melta and flamers, or Raven guard get a damage bonus or cooldown reduction on stealth, blood angels get a cooldown reduction on jump packs, etc...

I’m still holding onto the hope that maybe later on down the line they’ll give us a second champion skin for the Salamanders. I do think the Sniper looks cool, but Assualt or Heavy would easily have been the better fit. Oh well
