In this video, I'm going to take you on a journey through Durmitor National Park on a 4-day hike.
Starting at Black Lake in Žabljak, we set out to climb Planinica Peak, which was a challenging ascent with stunning views at the summit. From there, we descended to Škrčko Jezero, where we set up camp and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.
The next day, we tackled the steep climb to Prutaš Peak, which rewarded us with 360-degree views of the incredible landscapes surrounding us. After descending to Sarban Camp and camping overnight surrounded by a flock of sheep, we continued on to climb Bobotov Kuk, which offered jaw-dropping vistas stretching as far as Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Finally, we descended to Durmitor Camp where we spent the night before venturing into the fascinating Durmitor Ice Cave (Ledena Pecina) on our last day.
Throughout the 4-day hike, we encountered challenging terrain, breathtaking views, and peaceful moments in the heart of Durmitor National Park. It was a journey that tested our limits but rewarded us with unforgettable experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
