How often do you find that you intubate? so I was going to school and finished my prerequisites for nursing, however I don’t think RN is for me, so I have been giving it so much thought into RT only because I still would like to do something in the health field, it just scares me the thought of intubation.

Super helpful! Do you live alone? That's my biggest concern/thing holding me back. I live alone and I would only be able to work maybe one day on the weekends because I would HAVE to give the program 100%.

RT class of '85...39 yrs in........a little advice....stay the course...trust your gut....and dont expect to be recognized for your expertise....be efficient...and have a short memory....they dont really prepare u in school...so make work friends u can trust....sometimes spouses dont get it. Be kind and be a hero. Who knew. 😊
