Thank you very much. Slightly off topic, any hints on where to look for guidance to use an external uptime bot to check services protected by Authentik? Having my uptime in the same location as the services I am trying to monitor is less robust than an external monitor. I see that you have an uptime that appears to be on the same network as your apps.

Ok, I thought I followed this at every step, but when I click on "Forgot Username or Password" It requires both Username/Email and Password, which obviously defeats the purpose of a password reset... Any idea what I did wrong?

Quick question, when logging in to my Authentik instance after putting my username and password, the webauthn authentication method immediately kicks in and expects me to login using that (or the last used authentication method for that matter). However, I see on your video that you're presented with the authentication methods to choose from, there's no default kicking in. How to configure this? Thanks again.

Do not buy from this Seauto, when it stops working, and it will, you will have to buy a new pool cleaner from someone else. Seauto does not answer the phone, and will not answer emails not even the chat window on their web page. I bought a Seauto crab in June 2024. It work great for the first 6 months and then it didn't work at all. It's supposed to have a 2 year warranty. I have been trying to reach Seauto for a month now, and have not received any reply whatsoever. I guess i will have to buy one somewhere else in the spring. Very disappointing.

Nice video. I can't for the life of me get a generic notification to trigger though. The configuration is so poorly explained and arcane :( Even with your ak_client_ip note in there. It says it passed, but the rule keeps failing.

Anyway to customize the discord notification? The docs are confusing and I would like to see more detail in the notifications like IP address and location.

Seauto makes an inferior product and has the worst customer service. If I received a product of this value or more for free to review, I would probably do a fake review to keep getting free products. Bottom-line: Thier products do not last long, anywhere from a few weeks to 8 months before it dies and is just a brick. Good luck getting customer service to work with you to have the unit fixed and/or replaced under their manufactures warranty. If your presentient enough, you may get a replacement unit, it took me 4 months of dealing with them. I purchased the Seauto Seal (November 2023), it died after 7 months (July 2024). Seauto finally replaced (late Oct 2024) with a Seauto Crab, 4 months of back-and-forth emails and ghosting me for extended periods of time. When the product works it does an OK job, the rubber flap in the basket allows for debris to fall back into the pool when taking the unit out (both Seal & Crab). The charging port watertight plug is located on all their models are on top which could allow water to seep in when removing it if you do not wipe away all the standing water near it. Let's not gloss over the horrible design on the Crab to access the debris basket, at lease the Seal had a more simplistic design to was easier to use. There are much better robot vacs out there, spend a few extra bucks and get one from a name brand company instead of some fly-by-night Chines junk company. Don't trust me, buy one for yourself and see how long it last you.

Is it possible to use OIDC with Nginx? I haven't been able to figure out how to both route to the application as with forward auth AND use OIDC since only one provider can be associated with an application at a time.

I have created a CNAME entry "auth" pointing to my domain.tld (auth.domain.tld) In NPM I have a corresponding entry listening on auth.domain.tld and pointing to the IP of Authentik. The whole thing works, but when I go to Outpost, instead of auth.domain.tld, it shows my internal IP. Can you help me here?

Have you seen GeoIP policy in Authentik? IMHO that's one of the most important new feature, especially when paired with proxy outpost. Unfortunetly I'm yet to discover how to implement it properly.

This machine does great work although the charger stops working for many of us in about 2-3months. The company online takes many weeks to replace it for you. Very frustrating after paying that price!

Very clear video! However, pasting the generated advanced configuration for nginx proxy manager makes the host go to Offline. So it seems that the generated snippet contains some things that throws off NPM for me. Found it: Authentik gives a map statement at the top of the config, which can't be added under advanced because this needs to be within an http block.

I had issue with having integration set up to docker integration, removed it and for now everything looks good
