2000 Yamaha R6, R1 front end, twin custom exhaust

Carb model R6, fitted with r1 front end, 99 R1 forks, 2004 r1 yoke/triple, 2003 r1 calipers, dynomite vented front mudguard, Motrax lines, billet top yoke, 99 R1 clip ons. Frame swingarm wheels etc all resprayed and laquered. All fixings stainless steel, custom twin high level cans, custom recovered seat. Built bike for the missis, but just as i got it finished we got her an 08 R6 that came up....

Big spider - for the UK anyway. She was very fast, even jumped, after reading up on her - female because of size, larger than than a male, almost 2cm body. Apparently if we had put her outside she could easy have died so we stashed her in the back of a neighbours garage which hardly gets used. No need to kill spiders, especially in the UK.

Nice build, how did the yoke, bearings and stem fit? I got gold valves in the stock forks on a 2002, they are nice but I often wonder how an R1 front end would handle.

I had an Honda MT50 this spring, but sold it due to bad gear box and bad swing. I never drove in on the road, only on my backyard. Is this too much if I should buy one of these? I need license for it too here in Sweden. This is rather heavy, isn´t it?
Rather Light I'd say. Dry 98 kg. Extremely reliable.
Oh so much! MT5 was around 80 kg and I thought that one was too heavy sometimes. Consider that I am weak and rather old, turning 45 soon so I have the best part of life behind me. I have put on many kilos the latest 6 months. Not good.

forks got bent on my 2001 R6, I've gotta do this! no better time to do it either, lol. I already have the R1 tail on it. your bike looks good, but I would have never painted that beautiful frame, and that tail section looks twisted oO maybe it's just the video, but it looks like it's tweaked about a half inch to and inch, the entire rear bolt on area....oh shit, this is from 2010! haha, well, anyway, you did a great job at making it your own, and that's what matters.

Crap, I JUST restored my 2000 R6, like literally took it for its first ride in 6 months after doing a new (used) motor and 03R6S transmission upgrade, and the new fairings will be to me on Monday.... And I stumble across YOUR video... NOW I WANT TO PAINT MY FRAME BLACK. I HATE YOU. lol Looks amazing bro hope she's still in as good a shape. I love the inverted forks I wish I knew what it took to do that!

It pulls the exhaust on the manifold that is bolted on the exhaust port of the cylinder
How much was this setup, did you need to rejet the carbs ?
you can get a full set on ebay for £80 that's gauards headlight cover and side panels just change the ebay settings to world wide
