On the 18th of June 2023, we sailed from Falmouth to The Isles of Scilly. Sailing to the Isles of Scilly, you need a good weather window, which we had. We could sail the whole journey, seeing dolphins, getting a good anchor spot and enjoying a few places on the Isles of Scilly. Thank you for watching and supporting us. We cannot wait to go sail again. But for now, clips from this summer. A jour...

One clip of 6 minutes without any editing. Just as it was, we sailed like this for 5 of the 6 hours. It was beautiful! It was everything what (I think) every sailors wants. The waves and enough wind from the right direction. I hope you enjoy. 🙋🏽♀️⛵️🙋🏼♂️

With about 11-13 knots of wind we sailed from Vlieland to Makkum on May 8, 2022. When you sail away from Vlieland, you sail through the Stortemelk. This is located between Vlieland and Terschelling. Here we could, with a lot of current, sail wonderful. I found a lot of clips very cool, so shortening was not possible for me. Hence almost 10 minutes of wonderful sailing on our fantastic sailing y...

Dear Marloes & Niels, the HallbergRassy - what a beautiful blue water cruiser. If you want to read about a HR62 - I just published the new version of my Middle East novel which is being framed by a wonderful sailing trip in the Mediterranean (Imperia - Ajaccio - Ostia - Stromboli - Messina - Crete - the Coasts of Israel)... English version is not yet published (named: "Less Than Direct") but I can send you one. German language version is named "Als der Krieg im Meer versank". Stay safe and enjoy further nice sailing journeys. Marcus (a mediator from Stuttgart and 50% (!) Dutch via my mother Josine) :-)
HR 40to44feet will be enough.
In areas like this you keep making pictures & videos. So beautiful!
Windfinder was spotted in Scotland! 🙂 th-cam.com/video/yg50GwVWycU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ChVAz7HsQO_jQ6NU&t=527
Behouden vaart gewenst.... top videos
Love seeing lots of just sailing. Nice work
Yellow Rose is a new 44 and she is awesome for us. We “downsized” from a 2018 HR 48, Inconceivable, and really like the 44. We have already been to Norway and back and she sails really well. Headed to the States in August.
Amazing! Fair winds! I can imagine that she is awesome and doesn’t feel like a downsize at all.
Fair winds from the HR48 n.4 2005 Warandher now sailing Portugal/Spain/France and watch out for the orcas (we met them)!
Superleuk om een inkijkje in jullie trips te krijgen!🤩
Thanks 🙋🏼♂️⛵️🙋🏽♀️, kom je een keer mee op een kort tripje?
@@sailingwindfinder Dat lijkt me heel leuk!!

Indeed we feel really rich for having the opportunity to do this, which we created our selves.
Estava sentindo a falta de vocês 🙏 Que bom que estão de volta👍
Good to be back. In a week we will have a holiday of 5 weeks, so more YT to come. 🎉
Fantastic, thanks for sharing.
She’s a purty one, such a beautiful boat . Eye eye captain. From the San Francisco Bay. 👋
So nice to hear from you all the way from San Francisco Bay!! 🙋🏽♀️⛵️🙋🏼♂️
Good to see you are back on TH-cam! Happy sailing! Cheers, Harry
Thank you Harry! 🙋🏼♂️⛵️🙋🏽♀️
Don't you disembark and go ashore? Discover cities and shop?
Don't you travel at night, in the rain, cook, have breakdowns or maintain the boat? Don't you provision the boat? Don't dolphins, whales or birds come?
Beautiful.

Beautiful boat. Love the music!
Hello Marloes, love your boat, in fact I'm also buying a HR48. Your dingy seams to be the perfect size for it. Could you tell me what is the overall length
Congratulations on buying a HR48 🎉. Our dinghy is 2.55 m overall length. store.bootakkrum.nl/onze-boten/rubberboten-en-ribs/ab/lammina-8-ul.html
Thnx guys, good to see another video after some months and indeed a perfect destination. And (not ‘but’!) rather surprised to see the tattoos 😊 Nice yacht, nice couple, looking forward to the next video. Voor nu mooie feestdagen en voortVAREND 2024. Gr., Harry
Hi Harry, same to you. Mooie feestdagen, 2023 laten we varen. Vol tuig ⛵️ op naar 2024. We loved this trip. Already working on the next YT (and probably one more tattoo 😉). Gr. Marloes & Niels
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. This was a really special place to visit by sailboat.
Living the dream in a HR.
Such a nice sailboat! I hope that you guys will make it to South East Asia all the way to Thailand. Would be an awesome trip to follow.
Thank you, i enjoyed this video Glad you have decided to talk a little bit along the way. You have got a beautiful boat. . Best regards from Jarle
bad music
Maybe you damaged Northstream? 😝
Niet limington.... Lymington. Hollander.
QUE MARAVILLA!...WONDERFUL!
Perfect😎
Prachtige beelden! ❤ Geweldige geluiden! ❤
Dankjewel, klinkt fijn hè.
Great Video, Love the begining. Just the sound of the sea against the hull. So relaxing. If you close your eyes you could be onboard.
Beautiful boat ....and perfect sailing video of actually sailing ❤
Hallo zusammen, tolles Video ja wenn man einen Fachman dabei heit bei so einer Aktion ist das schon gut, mich würde auch interessieren wieviel ihr für den Gereteträger bezahlt habt, bis bald .......👍
Beautiful HR 48 but always the same camera shot. Try to film in the harbour or at ancorage.
We think she is beautiful too. That’s why we share some of our journeys. That sharing part is just a hobby. When there is time to film, we film. Don’t like the same shots? Don’t watch them.
Presumably you commented after the first 30 seconds.
That's fucking cool man.
It was amazing sailing!!
No further comments needed: comfortable, fast and relaxed!
Wauw dat ging hard! Joehoeee🎉
Hello Marloes and Niels. Your videos are great and your 48 is wonderful. @ 5:47 you're berthed next to a Bestevaer. Do you know which one? Thanks, Rick.
Hi Rick, we where together in Brighton and Kerrera. She is called Morning Haze. kmyachtbuilders.com/wp-content/uploads/2019-01-01-YW-High-Ambitions.pdf Thank you for your nice comment. 🙋🏽♀️⛵️🙋🏼♂️
enjoy your videos but struggle to hear your commentary
Thank you for your comment. I am trying to get this better. Speaking in the wind outside, is still hard to get with could volume. But I hope the voiceover was oke?
Terrible music. 😬
SOUND !!!!
Beautiful boat . . . may the winds be found and the seas calm. I have my You Tube Volume and my PC/Windows volume at maximum. Perhaps you can boost the volume on your recordings a little.
Very Nice! Great balance between music and live sound..well done. -- QUESTION -- So how does it work within EU countries - did you have to put up a French courtesy flag even though you are also from an EU country yourself? Can't you just go to any EU country without immigration check-in?
Courtesy flag is still done within the EU countries. The hoisting of the guest country flag is intended to express that one submits to the laws of the country visited. As every EU country still has it's own law, the courtesy flag is hoisted. I'm not a professional sailor, so take my answer with a grain of salt 🙂 Within the EU (Schengen) an immigration isn't required BUT I would always check if there are specific regulations that you have to obey. Greece seems to be a bit difficult sometimes I have read. Croatia just recently became a member of the Schengen area and has dropped all immigation formalities since January 1, 2023.
@@thearchibaldtuttle ....I did not know that.. I remember backpacking through Europe and after landing in Germany I went from country to country without any immigrating at all - which was great, although I wanted passport stamps as souvenirs like in old movies. I just thought the same would apply when sailing - but fair enough.. I wonder how much of this checking in and out is simply about taking money from sailors. Seems like it is becoming a big tax grab from what I see on youtube.
@@michaeltca3103 Absolutely! Some countries really rip of sailors!
You have a beautiful and very good sailing yacht. This Summer I Go the first time sailing whit my wife on de Noordzee. She never sailing on de Noordzee, I hope she like it. We sailing now 5 year on de IJsselmeer For myself no problem I sailing from 1985 on de Noordzee.
I like your content but wish you could increase the volume during your spoken parts. You have a very soft voice and I would love to be able to here what you have to say. We took possession of a new 48 MK ll in 2018, named her Inconceivable, and are looking forward to a new HR 44 in June 2024. We absolutely love the HR brand. Fair sailing ….
Fair sailing to you too. Thank you for the comment and advice on my voice. Will keep that in mind for the next post processing of a clip. We feel the same about the brand Hallberg-Rassy. Still love at first sight when we walk up to Windfinder. I think you have the new HR44 already for it is July 2024? How is she? ⛵️
You have a beautiful boat and some great sailing shots. Best of luck on your travels! What are your plans?
It's amazing how similar Hallberg Rassy sailboats look to each other. Except for the size, this 43 looks, to my eye, very similar to your new 48. Such a classic design!
The design is very similar. That is what we love about this design. We love this design more than the hill shape of the new HR 50. Wich is also beautiful but much more modern.
@@sailingwindfinder ..it is funny that you mentioned that about the hull shape. I think we agree with you about the newer modern hulls vs your generation. Not sure what to think of dual exposed rudders on the new ones.
