Ha! Thanks for the shoutout on the Gorgon, Nate! 😂 Glad you appreciated my advice. It works great moving the ESC forward to connect the battery up top. I realize the Gorgon isn’t the fastest RC around, but man is it SO much fun! And so durable! That 223s senton is awesome! Great content as always brother. 👊🏼😎🍻

Broke a front suspension arm and a front shock in the first day of having the typhon 223s blx. Great little machine but reasonably fragile.

Also, what I did with mine, was added a cooling fan and wheelie bar. And if you’re gonna run a 2s Lipo Nate, scoot the ESC one space forward on the chassis. There’s extra holes to fasten it down. That way, you can feed the battery cable up through the hole and connect the battery up top instead of trying to smash all the wires inside the battery compartment. 👊🏼 That’s what I did and it works great

Yes! You took my suggestion and ran with it! 😂😂 I knew you’d grab one. I love mine. My first Arrma. I’ve driven the daylights outta mine for over a year now. It’s still one of my fav RC cars in my fleet 😍 Have not had even ONE issue with it yet. I did the same, grabbed a 2s Lipo right off the bat. Before you drive it Nate, make sure you move the jumper pin on the ESC to Lipo mode. 😎

Damn, I knew it! Yours too? That’s why I asked you to give us feedback about whether the axles bent after you drove it the first time and mildly jumped it. What a bummer. I’ve seen like 4 videos now where that’s happened to the axles on these new typhon 223s cars. Which sucks cause I want one 😂

Them axle Huns mustn’t be hardened steel or hard enough it’s called HRC . Knives are like 53-59 but can go higher depending on the steel . If it’s too hard , it gets brittle . My 3s does the same , not so much 4s and 6s . It’s fine 😂. All of them do it

Hello keep up the videos! Just wondering if the new senton v4 blx 223s 4x4 has this same issue? Was looking at getting my first 1/10 scale rc and I really want a 4wd sct but i might go with a traxxas or team associated if i will have to spend the difference in upgrades right away with the arrma. Me and my daughter really enjoy our arrma grabite grom but it was a bit of an inconvenience having to order and replace the diffs for upgraded ones basically right after we bought the truck.

Add stub axle/hub teardown to your list. I haven't jumped mine yet. Just doing a parking lot on hoons. There extra Hard compound in the cold.

The problem with these and the grave digger is those terrible SLT two radios and you can't use real radios with them you need to replace the receiver and esc. It's a damn shame cause I already would've bought all the groms fury and both diggers like you did.

Yeah , I bit the bullet and bought a 36” wide kcrc ramp . Best thing I ever did . I can carry it anywhere under the arm and it’s light . No regrets there bro . I built one previously and it was a major pain hauling around so I kept it at home . Yeah man , $250 on a ramp right 😂. Still , no regrets . I used it all summer

These typhon vids must be a sign for me to get one too . I just saw RC revealed got a v3 version . That weather looks the same as here . I was out today with a Kraton 6s amd wouldn’t you know soon as o started enjoying myself is started to snow pretty good 😂. I got enough time in but I’m between Cleveland and Pittsburgh . There’s an indoor track @Austintown hobby and some other dude has one in hermitage PA I believe . I’m trying g to find some Dirt tracks close by but Sharon Pa area has pump track for bmx I wanted to check out and there’s a cool spot down the street from me in Canfield Ohio that has a 10ft gravity wall and high turns . It’s a little secret but it’s a great spot for 3 and 4s . 6s scares the kids 😂 bit there s a whole football field sized bowl that s sweet for jumping in and out . Otherwise I go to my dedicated spots with big sled riding hills I like to jump down them high hills and hit the low flying distance jumps .

Iv been wondering why they seem slower. They dropped the pinion from 20t to 16t for this new version. It probably explains why these are not hitting 50mph anymore.

It’s been wet all day off and in but I managed to get a pack in with a Kraton 6s . I wanted to see what an earplug did in the center diff . I got the equate brand since they were softer . Definitely more power to the rear . It wasn’t super noticeable though . Prob because the plugs were softer like 20million is what it seemed like to me . The other brand they had was significantly harder . I forget what it was . Whatever s at Walmart

I almost got one of these the other day . Everyone likes it . Looks like it lands really good and flys nice as well .

The Servo saver ARRMA is putting in some cars is the worst. The new Typhon 223 steering is trash. Kraton 4s 2.5 steering is trash. Very poor design.

Let us know how those axles are after bashing it. I saw someone else post a video showing them all wobbly and I just ordered the typhon a couple days ago 😢 so beautiful hope its an easy fix if it’s a common issue

From those 4 the Mojave Grom BLX is by far the most durable RC car with its upgraded parts ! And if you are in for a new 1:8 buggy, better grab the Team Corally Syncro 4 instead of Typhon 223S.
