I don't know man, South Korea looks very heteronormative to say the least when you look outside of the K-Pop scene, so I don't think her going out of her way to say she likes women so frequently is JUST queerbaiting, like that might be fan service to some, but I'm not sure that it wouldn't alienate more conservative audiences. I'm no expert on sexuality in Korea or East Asian societies overall, maybe there's more of a spectrum. I live in Latin America and some of the emotional displays of masculinity I see in Eastern Asian media, at least popular culture, would be questioned in the eyes of a very patriarchal post - Spanish colonial societies, but I'm maybe reading too much into it 😂
Like seeing idols being able to express their feelings. It's unfortunate that they can't really come out and say it with getting hate. I wish we could just let them live.. They are always congratulating their fans when they hear about relationships but they can't do the same. Unrelated (not completely) but Xu Minghao from Seventeen has this same vibe XD In which when asked about his type early after debut, hew replied "male or female?". Now when asked about his love life, he says partner and not wife. In all his songs about love he never says girl. Yes, his song "Hai Cheng", he dances with a girl. However that song is about his love for his home rather than a person. For "Side by Side", he made it so that at the end the girl was the one that asked him out (to try to break stereotypes). And with his recent song "Lift Off" ft. Vernon, only Vernon specifies "girl". I don't think he's gay but bisexual or pansexual. Of course it could be fan service but in reality we'll never know unless he outright says it.
i really have absolutely no malintent when i say this but something about how adamant and unabashedly she talks about this and interacts with fans regarding it makes me feel like it’s a tactic. because a big arbiter of loona’s initial popularity was the fictional romance between yves and chuu, it really took off and it’s likely part of the reason why most loona fans are queer. yves and her managers & producers are probably very aware of this and might be trying to capitalise off of it. because i have absolutely nothing against yves i just feel like this might deserve to be looked at from a critical view
yes there ARE idols who profit off of gay fanservice but like,,, yves was talking about dreams she had of dating women and correcting anyone who assumes her ideal type is a man WHILE SHE WASNT UNDER A COMPANY. some people are just gay😭
I'm usually the type of person that don't like when people assume idols sexuality, but babe- the closet is made out of glass 💀 lmaoo. There's no way my girl isn't AT LEAST bisexual
I hate how the "I don't want to assume people's sexuality" is only ever used for people who are assumed to be queer. This girl is obviously a lesbian and she has made fans know in a million different ways 😭 I feel like the "I don't want to assume sexuality" is just an excuse, because people seems to be okay with assuming absolutely everyone is straight.
and then she came out with the song “see you in hell” which i think is literally a coming out damn song 😭😭 i love her
i smile every time i remember this video, miss girl makes sure to let us know she’s no boy kisser
Pinches anicetos
gosh i love her
0:40 help, i do this too 😭🤍
Ok she is gay.
i don’t blame yves for dreaming about krystal and karina though 😭😭
ur weird as hell for doing an compilation of her “””being gay””” do you have something else to do..? it’s obvious it’s queerbaiting + fan service
You sound really h0m0ph0b1c to me

y’all are just ignorant..at this point like think she could be lesbian HELP y’all go touch some grass
What’s wrong? She might be lesbian lol, I don’t think all of this is ”fan service” and she even wore a shirt that said ”I ❤ girls”
'love and respect her
Yves❤
Im actually so sad sk is so homophobic 💔 wish she could openly be herself ❤
I love coming back to this video and watching it again! We love to see it
I hope she gets the courage to be who she is soon

Thinking abt making a chuu one of these…

That's not true at all even as a soloist, she's still like this why can't she just be open about it without it being some sort of tactic.

that's my loona bias alright 😭🩷
this is the one time i believe an idol is actually gay tbh
I'm usually the type of person that don't like when people assume idols sexuality, but babe- the closet is made out of glass 💀 lmaoo. There's no way my girl isn't AT LEAST bisexual
The closest is literally just 0.3cm thick atp
@@Arias_queendom talking about getting a tingly sensation when seeing women twice is crazy 😭3:52 & 4:04
I love her!!!!
I don’t really agree with the colors tho(pink=girly black&white=tomboy)

as a sapphic, I said that but for both ways, don't assume one or another 🤷🏻♀️
