Here's my latest purchase, and also my 'newest' machine. This is a very unique 4 player mini crane machine with really nice lighting and a good set of features. It's not very often a machine exceeds my expectations like this one did. There's a surprising amount of settings and also the ability to link other compatible machines in order to share lighting and also transfer settings automatically....

This is my newest machine, Toy Soldier! It needed the board replaced because it had a fault related to the claw, I took a look at it but it appears the previous tech tried to fix it and messed it up more. I ended up buying a brand new one for it. The supercard was actually sitting in the bottom of the machine loose when I bought it so I decided to install it back the way it's supposed to be.

In our huge grocery store, there is a telephone (basically the same WMH-288, as the toy soldier) claw machine in horrible condition. My dad works doing repair of the arcade machines, but mostly cranes. He told me they said "crane not working". That's it. That's all they said. The crane was erroring out, I don't remember the code. Probably E6, E8 or E9. Anyways he fixed the machine, and noticed: no matter how strong the claw is set, it always closes at about 40% power (About 25 volts). Turned out, that strength potentiometer is stuck at 40% position, and the knob spins independently to the potentiometer itself.

Great footage of this claw. Question though, does that attract song play continually? That would drive me mad after a while (as great as it is), but I suppose it's a good option if it was outside or something. Great to see inside the machine as well.

@@tobitechboy1461 Turned the machine volume down very low, cut up an aux cable and connected the microphone wires to the machine's speaker terminals
@@RamClaw Okay, and then just plug it into a phone?
@@tobitechboy1461 Yes, or a laptop with recording software like audacity. Just be real careful you have it all hooked up correctly and the machine volume is set super low. There's a chance you could fry your device or even the amplifier in the machine if something's not right. You should be fine though but of course do at your own risk.
