🎉🎉🎉!(+++)
Im only 2min into this video but your experience sounds very similar to mine. Im just on the cusp of reversing a decade of every kind of tendinitis, carpal tunnel, and a hand "deformity" all in my left arm. I agree with the usage of the soft fulcrum, and in my case I had to play very slow and softly with all my fingers forced into the correct position, and allowing the stick to bounce. I had to relearn french grip (good because of external rotation of the forearm/wrist) and practice freestroke. As well as some bounces similar to you here. Wish I had found this video much earlier
We’re all here for Meshuggah huh
Want to learn Bleed by Meshuggah. It led me here.
Very powerful video
Very nice video!!! 🥲
You’ve got such a minimal drumset lol, thank you for all this
The best rudiment imo
I believe the two stroke is not a tap. It's downstroke and upstroke. No tap.
Yeah. Playing Bleed hertsalot. yeah I know i know. probably saw this joke somewhere, years ago.
I don't think you were following that sheet music at the beginning lol
Tried to buy your Moeller course, but I can’t. It says you have to login, but there’s no place for a person to sign up for a new login. There is an existing login, but no new logins.
Hi Shaun, here is the link to the product page to buy the course: musiprof.com/product/moeller-technique-online-course/
I am not sure why the login page didn't have a buy button on your end. I see it when I go to this page: musiprof.com/product/moeller-technique-online-course/ and press take this course. Let me know if you are still unable to access it. Best
BLEED!
Great, now play meshuggah - bleed :D
I’m here to play no one knows
Same ! It’s the only part left 😢
Did you get it? @fortnightlover2366

For a moment I thought you were covering Meshuggah.
Thank u bro
This video is DI BEST!! THANKS A LOT!!
Just wondering... my Notion of a control stroke is to close hand so tip ends flat and close to the head... purpose being it's loud strike that preceeds a quiet one. your version of control looks like a caught rebound...🤔 is it a different school of thought on this matter?
Worked beautifully. In minutes. Thanks🎉
Great lesson. Thanks so much!
Way easier to hear and play in cut time
This made it so easy, thanks
This is definitely Billy Cobham style but, he does it with his hands where Tomas Haake does it with his feet….😳
I used the herta in a bass drum pattern during a song my band recorded 10 years ago and just now learned that I played hertas incorrectly. This should make it easier to play. Thanks!
Expected to hear bleed by Meshuggah.. heard Bow down by BOO instead lol
Bleed by Meshuggah
Can you show us this as Neil Peart plays it?
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAMS OF FIRE SWEEP THROUGH MY HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAD!!!
thanks a lot for this tutorial!!! 🔥🔥🔥
I look at this as a triplet but on the accent stroke do a double stroke.
Love this! I've got a question, is it important to honour the accent on the first stroke of the pattern? I don't hear much, if any, dynamic difference in your rendition of the exercise and I'm left wondering whether it's best to just try to make them sound as even as possible first before adding any accented notes...?
This video is so fire! Plus they give you a path to similar rudiments.
Nice one‼️
best intro to moeller on yt!
No Mute no Muffling your Drums just dead...................
Maybe some day I’ll be able to play hot for teacher
yea i picked up finally after years of trying to wrk out what the hell was being played! Lucky I found the transcript which made it a breeze!
Dave Grohl plays the Herta throughout the Queens of the stoneage song “No one knows” I guess Dave just figured it was about time someone paid homage to the Herta!
Hertas are everywhere lol
That's why Im here
Neil Peart played a variant of this in many songs and Alex Van Halen used on Hot for Teacher.
A 2 note Moeller is also called a Moeller pump. That’s how I usually play the hi-hat.
My mind was blown when I realised it was basically just a push pull which was the secret to the speed
Finally someone to explain this in a way I can understand!
I really appreciate the slow mo look at the hands, especially as someone who has had to stop taking in-person lessons
Niiiiice! 👏🇦🇺✌️
Take the mask of mate breath
Hi, what is tha extra Drumhead on top of you snare?
I'm a student but I'm worried about my mic (like the one you have) picking up the sound of my teacher speaking and creating an echo for the teacher. Have you experienced this? I haven't taken a lesson yet for this reason.
