None of them looked like the painting to me. All were much prettier. The first couple looked like Eleanor Tomilson as Demelza in Poldark. In the painting she looked very homely and much older than 37 which is what she was when she died.

Caligula a avut ciudățeniile sale!

    1. Henry only became interested in Anne in 1526 2. Catherine had a minimum of 6 pregnancies. Possibly one more, but 9 times is unlikely. 3. Out of those pregnancies, she had two children who survived birth, Prince Henry (who died in infancy) and Queen Mary I. The recreation is very well done. This resembles Catherine more than most other AI recreations I've seen.

It frustrates me to no end when videos like this, and the wardrobe departments for productions for so many series and movies like “The Tudors” and even “Anne of a Thousand Days” totally miss the mark and have the women swanning about with their hair loose and flowing. It was simply not done! Anne Boleyn scandalized the Tudor court by opting for the “French hood” which revealed a mere few inches past her hairline! A woman revealing her hair was like one going topless today! As a history buff, I don’t believe that refusing to pander to modern tastes will lose you viewers. The manner of dress of an era reflects so much about that time and culture and …..that important layer of our understanding of history is totally lost when not seriously considered. And isn’t history about understanding people and the way they lived and why?
