playing games with the numbers, yes Germany does support it's electric use 50% by renewables...but the cost is high which has a real negative impact on it's economy. If you ask the question "would Germans think of using renewables that would cost 10's of thousands of jobs and cripple the German economy as a success"? Is this the future Germany was promissed when switching over to renewables?

Nuclear is only a good idea if you have the space to store the waste, we don´t. Energy costs aren´t our biggest disadvantage, labour costs are.

The problem was that Berlin opted for cheap Russian gas instead of nuclear to placate to the Greens. Then like the puppets they are, they completely bent over backwards when US applied some pressure. Then did nothing when the US essentially declared war on Germany by blowing up Nordstream. Germany needs new leadership. So does most of Europe.

Germany has banned Russian gas & oil. No worries. They replaced Russia with Biden and in a few months will likely get a new supplier - Trump.

It looks like the common sense finally returned. Countries for centuries had borders for reason before suddenly some bureaucrats decided to scrap this legacy. The full of conflicts world today is on the verge of war so the idea of open borders is pretty suicidal.

After the recent elections in Germany the government realised that if they do not change their immigration policies they will loose votes to the AfD. In the process they will upset their own voters though.

There should be a difference between legal and illegal inmigration. All inmigrants should ask for admission in all countries. No country should be forced to receive unwanted inmigrants. Any inmigration policy should be accorded taking into account these principles.

There is a misconception about Orbán. Because they pretend to be Christians and in love with their country in reality they don't give a crap about the people of Hungary. Also, they are not the government itself, nothing but a registered private organization campaigning for the power of public office and the eligibility to allocate the government's budget for 4 consecutive years. Not so long ago their media showed suffering children and people,e in need of some very expensive medication costing 2.6 million dollars per treatment that could save the lives of those in need of such. They made a report with one mother of a child suffering from this rare genetic disease and the government turned them down and how she is forced to watch her child die slowly and painfully, meanwhile Orban uses immigrants and refugees as trophies to meet his agenda by undermining and labeling the with his racial profiling, damaging their integrity and so. Because of Orban, the country was fined 200 million euros plus 1 million euros per day. They could use this money to save those they denied support for, but to them, their agenda is more important than those lives they could save but they won't. What I do not understand is why Brussels not going for the assets registered to Fidesz and its subsidiaries, and why the taxpayers have to pay for their reckless and cruel action. And, why are the Hungarian armed forces and authorities allowing this to happen, why they don't remove Orban and the other totalitarian people from public office?

From that point on, they lost the right as formulated by the UN. From then on, their intended entry into the EU was clearly motivated by economic considerations.

There's a very simple solution. Get out of the EU, get millions of Hungarians repatriated, stop receiving billions of euros, and join the economic powerhouses of brics. Personally, I've had enough of Orbán and Hungary.
