      Emrax 228, medium voltage motor, Bamocar 3d and overall weight is 215Kg

      We had to limit the max torque to prevent an overcurrent issue. We assembled the car basically 1 day before comp, so didnt get any testing@@arshsingh721

    I have some questions , the current is show that is current from control box to motor or current from battery to control box?

      Hey goodtime2344, I am unsure of what you mean by a control box in this case, but the current shown is the output of our high voltage accumulator (battery). This then goes through an inverter (converts the DC current to 3-phase AC), which spins our motor :)

    Fastest lap?? I saw some very interesting driver techniques in this video. Could probably shave off another full second tbh. None the less, looks awesome to drive.

      Our drivers would agree that it's awesome to drive, as well as that it could have been faster. Since this was our first ever driving EV that we didn't have working until a day before we left for competition, we had almost no time to test the vehicle, let alone do driver training. This was this drivers first time driving the vehicle in more than a straight line, it's amazing he was able to put up the time he did despite this.

      @@gophermotorsports2153 I'm unsure about FSAE but here in the UK it's very common for first-year EV teams not to pass scrutineering or even turn a wheel on circuit. Very impressive to see a first-year EV team get the car going, and going very quickly might I add.

    200 °C water (steam) temp and the engine is still running? Maybe something caused the sensor reading to be incorrect?

      Nope, all the water in our cooling system was confirmed to be gone after we checked it over, it's impressive it was still running but her engine needs a good rebuild before she can run again

      The sensor is actually head temp in the metal and not water. We’re still shocked it didn’t violently explode though.

      A hose came loose unfortunately. Prior to endurance the cooling system was vacuum tested with no leaks and all hose clamps were tight. We saw temp and pump current fluctuations in the data, so it is believed there was an air pocket, the system built up excess pressure, and eventually the line came off.
