Hello, does the cream increase acne on the skin at first? Does the skin cause vomiting? If so, how many weeks will it take? I am currently using a new one, I bought it upon doctor's advice, but it has increased, is it normal now?

7:08 - That is how I apply EVERYTHING. Wet my palms (not dripping), and then disperse it on my whole palms (and fingers), and then get it on the face quick, long before it dries. So much easier! can get the smoothest, most evenly dispersed layer ever, and I end up using less this way, because I'm not struggling to spread the product around, and then it gets too dry to spread and it's a nightmare doing it how people usually apply products for me. Then it dries down really nicely, and not sticky at all, which is great for gel-like products in particular I think. For my tretinoin I wet my fingers, but I don't use my palms (but I also apply a lot of it, so it's easier to slowly spread around fully without issue, same with sunscreen). I always had rather oily skin, but these days I'm only just now coming to the realisation that my skin just isn't oily anymore. I identify with oily skin lol. My tretinoin cream is quite thick, and 5-10 minutes after applying that, I don't feel it on my skin anymore, which is bizarre. So I'll be trying this moisturiser and seeing what happens there. It's thick, but applies nicely and apparently wears like a medium-weight moisturiser.

Did you purge when you increased your tretinoin strength and what made you feel like you should increase the strength of tretinoin and how are the results?

I’m just now using the ILLIYOON ceramide cream and love it 😍. Since my skin is on the dry side, I use it as a daily moisturizer under makeup. It goes on very smoothly. I do not find it to be too thick for me, but if you have oily skin, try a lighter version.

Does this give a matte finish or greasy/shine after application? Also you mentioned you apply it nights only is that because its too rich for daytime use? Thanks in advance x

Just wanted to add a little warning to anyone thinking of buying an Omnilux mask... mine shorted out a few weeks after the warranty period, and their customer service told me to just buy a new one. I started searching and found others who had the exact same thing happen to them. Hard not to feel like they're designed to force repurchasing every two years. They highly censor the starred reviews on their website, and have offered me discounts-though never a replacement mask-to remove my own critical comments elsewhere online. They send so many free masks out to "partners" to access those people's audiences, but won't stand by their existing customers. If you can afford to buy the same $395 skincare device every two years, well, knock yourself out, otherwise I'd look into other brands or even a sturdier more versatile panel instead of a mask.

Hi! So how long into your tret journey did purging start? I’ve been using tret since june and no breakout happened. Suddenly, in september, folliculitis-like pimples appeared in my face. I dont know where they came from. I fugured if the breakout was a result of purging, it should have happened when i started tret. Why did my skin wait for several months before purging? Or maybe this is just unrelated I’m just so comfused AF now 😭

You’re lucky you were able to get it in that dosage to start. I can’t get a dermatologist to prescribe anything stronger than .025 and I am 52 with non sensitive that is used to chemical peels. I tried getting it through the agency, who compounds it with other products, and they wanted to give me an even lower dosage, which they’re able to make, as opposed to The three prescriptions that are available through most pharmacies. How are you able to get it? Prescribed it that high of a dosage to start? I’d appreciate the advice!

Tretinoin and I are besties forever. I was initially on Accutane for 7 months which cleared my acne. My dermatologist then prescribed me tretinoin which I now use everyday. My skin is glass-like looking and smooth as butter. You must wear sunscreen everyday. Gamechanger💓

Can i use Vaseline or baby lotion as moisturizer before or after tretinoin cause i only have these and i have a very dry skin ... i just ordered a tretinoin cream but very afraid to apply it cause i don't have any moisturizer
