This is such an amazing coincidence😯!!! I was just thinking last night that it was a quite a while since you'd released a podcast and how good it would be if you did a new one! I'm so pleased to see you again.

So I too decided to do less (TH-cam and social media mostly) and am only now watching your last video. Girl, so good to see you in your new home. Looks fab! I almost choked when you said you're learning Irish. I'd be happy to provide resources so shout if you need anything, not that I can speak it anymore (did a year of Irish back in a college before moving to live in Ireland). And I don't think I used it once since. Apart from a few areas, everyone speaks English, which is much easier, haha. But! I have access to studying books, radio, and TV. Hope you're doing fine missus. Much love <3

Love your shawls, BUT the Honeycomb is amazing! The colors are fantastic! I am thinking with your medium brown skin that maybe you should try brighter colors for the fall and winter. That fabric dyed by Mandy is it. That shawl with the lavender is beautiful. Well, Stephen West suggested a yarn dyer to check out is Twisted Ambitions Yarn. Look him up, I got some yarn but haven’t used it yet. I got five colors to knit Stephen’s Quirky Quintet Shawl.

That shawl is lovely, do you have a sister who deserves a wonderful Christmas gift? Sorry, it is too warm for me. Lived up north for 40 years so I seldom wear a coat here in NC!

I am only on Episode 2 and I love you already! Steven West is amazing, isn’t he? cannot wait until I have even experience to make one of his shawls. I really like his Quirky Quintet, but will try the SlumberShawl first. Do you like the Texture Time? Love it and LOVE your personality! I think your shawl, that is not your colors is lovely! Love those border colors. Does the winter get cold where you are?

I just stumbled upon your podcast (someone on reddit recommended it with the words "she is so funny"). I can really relate to you and that is some fresh air for me. Knitwise and bodywise, there seems to be quite some similarities. Anyhow: I so enjoyed watching you and if you are on the fence about whether you should record another episode: please do! I would love to hear from you, how you have been, what you've been doing, how your house project progressed etc. Get in touch, if you like, I'd be thrilled :)) Love, Jo

I know you probably busy with projects around your new house but just tease us with a short video. I really enjoy your videos, your projects and your sense of humor. I feel like we are girlfriends hanging out and catching up on what’s been going on since we last saw each other. How is the hallway rug coming along? Hope to see you soon.

also i relate so hard to your discussion about style and feeling frumpy , especially for a particular body size. I used to be like, way more stylish and daring and as I've continued to gain weight it's like, I guess i'll get old navy pants that kind of don't fit great. Working on my first sweater for myself this year, which i had a lot of anxiety about, has actually really distilled that i want to 1) find and make things that actually FIT and 2) be a lot slower in my fashion overall. Your content (which I've binged over the past few days) has also helped distill that for me quite a lot! thank you!

WOW - lots going on. It's so good to see you and I'm really excited for you and all the things you're learning. Welcome back - and the lighting is fine - shows that lovely sweater and your beautiful smile really well. There's a woman on YT with a channel called The Stitchery. She makes her own clothing and uses a lot of thrifted fabric to make her own patterns. She also recently did an episode on people reselling unused fabric online affordably and perhaps more sustainably. If I were making things to create a custom pattern, I'd probably buy thrift store sheets. Just thinking and rambling here. Pay me no mind. Good to see you and your beautiful new craft room.

Lovely to see you back! 😊 It's so annoying to have an ambitious project, not go to plan! I just picked up a vintage 80's knitted cardigan that is lined and every part of it is steeked together and I love it! If you are comfortable cutting into it , use a sewing pattern and treat what you've knitted as 'knit fabric', after all that is what it is! Alternatively give felting a go or make some gorgeous new things for your home. It may be too big but it looks very lovely!😍 Just a tip for practice sewing (toile making) for garments when you are figuring out the fit. I use old bedding/sheets i get from thrift stores. They are cheap for a large qty of fabric and a great way to give someting new purpose that might end up in landfill. 😁

A very late welcome back! Love hearing you chat about everything and your intentions for the year/next few years. Also, hilariously, I missed the boat on your missed the boat KAL XD I was one of those people who didn't really Get the Ranunculus, but a friend of mine who I taught the very basics of knitting a few years ago wanted to make it, so I said I'd make it with her and like you, I am a convert. I feel like I could happily make at least three more! Looking forward to the next one :)

How wonderful to have you back Sarah with another lovely to listen to vid about you creations -missed your fun personality. Great to see you back! Your knitted coat is gorgeous- the only coat I’ve made was a fail. Yours would make a beautiful pillow or pouf, that you could admire every day! I’m glad you’re enjoying tennis! I loved it as a kid , but my Dad and high school bestie were both champions and I was average, so got so discouraged.

Welcome back. So many things you can do with the beautiful fabric that is your coat. Treat it as fabric and make things to decorate your new home. Pillows, project bags, purses, wall hanging, lap blanket, frame a piece in a box frame. Make a smaller garment from it. Or just leave it as it is, curl up in front of the TV with it on all cozy and warm, and knit something that gives you joy. Looking forward to your next video.

Yay, you’re back!!! 🎉 you could turn the coat into some cute cushion covers!!! 😊 as a monument to lessons learned 😊 Also. Rug is stunning!!! I feel you with the body measurements that are totally out of whack. I’m smaller but my hips are always 2-3sizes bigger than my waist and bust measurements. Fine if I’m buying/making a skater dress that flares out from the waist but buying pants is like a horror movie. I do sew and will try and find the time to figure out how to sew pants with a million adjustments. Do you have any suggestions for anyone (TH-cam, blog, online course) that discusses these kinds of modifications?

Great to see you again! Your Ranunculus is exquisite…amazing looking yarn choice and fabulous fit! I think it’s such a popular pattern because of the yoke design, which is so pleasing to the eyes! I do believe knitting it in black will obscure some of that beautiful yoke detail…imo. I almost cried hearing about your 'coat failure'…boy did I love the way that project was knitting up, you really did such a great and beautiful job with that colorwork. I hope you manage to salvage it somehow, even if it means reknitting it…good luck with what you choose to do. Oh and I am loving your hallway runner…so stunning! Xoxo 🖤🤍
