1972 Nova Power steering Replacement

This video is about my project to replace the power steering box on my '72 Nova. The original has been in the car 50 years and is a stock 14:1 ratio. The new one is from Borgeson and is a 12.7:1 ratio. Here are the links to the parts I purchased.

Nova Gets A New Gas Tank

This video covers installing a new LS Swap gas tank for the Nova. Tank is from Summit Racing, part #SNE-19-416. The pickup-tube fittings I just picked up from a local hardware store. The main reason for this new tank is to eliminate the fuel pump noise on startup and while driving. It was incredibly loud!!! It is now super quiet.

We show you the process of installing the 799 heads and FAST LSXR intake manifold as well as the trouble we had with the front steam line (none on the rear for these type of heads). Mounting the coils on the firewall didn't work out because the bracket assembly turned out to be too high to fit under the hood, so we kept the original valve cover mounted coil assembly.

In this video I'm working on solving the brake dragging issue. I've had this problem ever since installing the new master cylinder, power booster and new clutch and brake pedal assembly. I also converted the brakes to all disc brakes. I assumed that once i replaced everything it would start working normally. Watch this video to find out what the problem was and how I fixed it.
