Horse racing handicapping and race analysis. Be sure to follow for horse racing picks!
We will talk about finding winners for horse racing throughout the country. Along the way, we will be talking about the Kentucky Derby Trail, Breeders Cup, and other Stakes races.
We will be looking at horses' patterns, how they match up in today's race, and if that horse should be expected to perform better coming into their race. Utilizing track bias and running styles, come see which horses will be overlooked by the public for you to attack in the pari-mutuel pools.

Pace matchups number 1 key only problem with horsebetting however is overcoming the chop/takeout this buries many horseplayers very hard to overcome mathmatically
Great video. I'm not a huge fan of raw time comparisons, especially given the variety of run-up distances, but you did a really good job finding appropriate comparisons.

I think you do a great job with analyzing the races. Keep a good work up. May I ask what program do you use?
I appreciate that! The software is RDSS. I think it is best if you’re playing more than the weekends or if you plan on taking on a longer meet. That way you can take advantage of the models you’ll build over the course of handicapping.
When constructing your serial wagers and verticals do you use DRF TicketMaker?
I used to, not anymore. I just go old school pen and paper and make sure I have tickets correct with the ABC method.

When should you play an Exacta
Can you do a video when to play an Exacta and how to structure an exact I'm trying to understand how an exacta works
I personally use the exacta sparingly in my own betting. A lot of times I look to use the exacta when we have an odds-on runner and I can toss multiple short prices in the place position. Essentially I’m looking to capitalize on a legit favorite and then find the longer price horses that can beat the rest of the field. I’ll link to a video talking about an exacta that I targeted. Ryan when using RDSS do you use the variant settings? And if so what do u have them set to?
I have them set to what is recommended. Never played with them much. Daily track variant is at 50% and range is -15 to +15.

Thanks! Plan on doing a review of betting the Keeneland fall meet. Will be going back and looking at how I handicapped each card and wagered. Looking at both good and bad decisions. Hope it can be a better way of seeing how to use these concepts on a day to day basis.

That was absolutely brilliant, compelling. I have been scouring youtube watching dozens upon dozens of handicapping videos looking for intrinsic handicapping And I have cut short almost all of them because it was either obvious information or Information that I have already long been aware of, but this video here amazing absolutely amazing. I have had to view it more than once and pause a few times since I am not very good with math and fractions I get very dyslexic over it So I have to really Take time to interpret what is being said and shown. it's funny because after watching this video I can't help but to think that in reality sure there are a lot of factors that are important when handicapped and a race but what could be more important if the focus had to be on one way of handicapping then the actual figures from each horse in each race. obviously there are other important factors but I think if ever you were hard pressed to have to handicap with only 1 Factor available you could eliminate all other factors except the one used in this video. you have a new subscriber most definitely. and I'm going to check out your podcast. do you happen to have software that crunches these numbers for you available to the public?
I appreciate that! Hope you can take something from here and use it in your own handicapping. I don’t personally have my own software but have used some in the past to help. To me, the way things were laid out in this video are the foundation you need. Software isn’t going to factor in how those early horses fade. Understanding running styles and what fractions each horse performs best can be done with the most basic of past performances. Having that mentality going into each race you handicap can help toss horses quickly and sometimes heavily bet horses that are helpless, like in this video. Where I think software helps is when you get into the longer wagers like the pick 4’s, 5’s, or 6’s.
