HARRAPSY The ltz is better and more setup for racing then the 400ex, The Ltz is also lighter and has better suspension so it would be better on the curves for sure.

@@addisonsmith3358 I bought a original oem parts, couldn't find any locally and wasn't going to buy cheap Chinese parts. Had to outsource from an American company, plus I paid for express shipping. So it was just shy of 500. I'm sure now I could get the carb cheaper, but this was over 3 years ago I bought the carb. Quad is running stronger than ever

lol Yeah, I've owned a two 400ex's and two LTZ's, one stock and one modified of each. LTZ was always faster either stock or with bolt-ons.

Nero Fluidis i guess it has to do with traction, I drag at the dunes up hills and on flats and I've raced a few ltz's and beat them by a few lengths. Your 400ex must not be taken care of or something they prob run like shit that's why

Either your 400ex was modified vs stock LTZs or those riders on the Suzukis were terrible. And if my 400ex wasn't taken care of then my LTZ's wouldn't of been either, so your point is moot. But since you bring it up, no they were both properly jetted with adequate compression and all maintenance done. I had a stock '07 and an '02 with a full FMF exhaust and filter, w/lid removed. The '02 was *slightly* faster than my stock LTZ, but my other LTZ with Yoshi pipe and filter w/lid removed was noticeably faster than the '02 EX. It wasn't even close. You sound like a 400ex fanatic that can't accept the fact that his air-cooled SOHC isn't as powerful as a liquid cooled DOHC of the same displacement. I am not blindly loyal to the LTZ as you seem to be towards your EX, I don't even have either of them anymore, I moved onto 450's and Raptor's. Keep believing your 400 trail bike is the fastest shit out there kid, you're only fooling yourself.

mike212916 they're not stolen lol. The Ltz400 needs a head gasket but the Honda is just fine. The only quads that get sold at $1500 and up are the 4x4 lol

Here in Tampa FL everything is expensive i guess lol. plus i looked for ready to ride, good quads. nothin super used.
