    That just to hold it together. You still have to wait a full day ( 24hrs ) to fully cure. Then and ONLY THEN you try pry apart.

    It is not a flexible sealant. It is not designed for porous wood! NOWHERE does it say it will absolutely cure instantly. You are making yourself look like an idiot! This works excellent on most plastics, metals, glass AND SKIN! I was certain you were going to glue yourself to yourself. I use this product ALL THE TIME! I fixed broken dentures, plastic rotary switch knobs, eyeglass frames, fishing rod eyes, a broken plastic bracket for an LED headlight and unequivocally, this Superweld UV Cure glue is FANTASTIC! Your review...not worth further comment!!!

    So I just bought some of this as well, and used it on broken sunglasses, where the arm meets the frame, at the hinge. Worked like a champ! I mean, I was yanking on it pretty good and it hasn't come loose yet. Pretty impressive

    The dollar store stuff is great for arts and crafts projects, when structural integrity isn't a necessity. But for furniture and other woodworking, stick with Titebond. It isn't very expensive. Also, when gluing end grain to end grain no matter what glue you use, flood the grain with glue and let it dry a bit before adding more glue and clamping. Really rub the glue down into the grain. This will give a much better bond by filling the open pores that wick glue away from the joint.

    • @CmdrTigerKing
      @CmdrTigerKing 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's the same stuff

  • @naturaIIydifferent
    @naturaIIydifferent 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    If you follow the instructions on the package, this stuff works great. The polyethylene tub won't bond with any glue. To fix that material you need to melt it back together. Even though the JB commercial shows instant full cure, it says different in the instructions. The commercial is definitely exaggerating the speed of cure. Hit it with the light, then wait 24 hours for a permanent bond.

    dude, the thing is, you weren't going to test the glue. You were going to make a video :):) that can collect views. These are very different things. Your tests are not correct, you just wanted to evoke emotions in the viewer.

  • @brosnet2005

    You forgot to read the instructions. For not see through materials. You cure it. But have to let it rest for 24hrs. Because the glue will cure without uv light. I have welded a few things and worked like a charm. The uv is to keep things in place.

    The Plastic is made out of ( PP ) or ( PE ) that are materials that no glue on erath can glue togehter. You can only glue it. Whit the help of a Primer

  • @MarkElliott-sw1uy

    The glue fully cures in 24 hours. If the object being glued is not transparent, the light will cure the glue around edge, which is great for holding the object together till the rest cures in 24 hours. Then you can stress it. Not so hard to understand.

    If don’t know how ride a bike you won’t do it, so my advice is do not test what you don’t know how. There’s the right and wrong way of doing things and in this case with all due respect you did it the wrong way.

    Nice video! Thanks! I'm installing an antennae on the roof. The cable will go from the antennae to a window. Do you think this will help fasten the cable to the roof and walls. I'm thinking I would surround the cable with putty and then press it against the roof/wall. Thoughts?
